"Just tell her." Eclipse groans in annoyance.
"But what if she doesn't feel the same way?! What if she decides to stop seeing me? What if..." warfalcon paces the office as Eclipse stands up.
"All you're doing is worrying yourself. You two have been dating for 3 months now. Just tell her and see what she says!" Eclipse slaps him on the top of the head as she walks towards the door. "You're giving me a headache. Make a decision already."
She shakes her head as she walks down the hall. Warfalcon and Fire were cute but sometimes he drove her up a wall. She started to wonder if she'd been that bad when it came to Anna. She turns the corner towards the cafeteria and bumps into someone holding several trays. Tea splashes on her as she reaches out to catch one tray with one hand and the girl with the other. Her telekinesis catches the rest mid air.
"Sorry about that. I was a bit distracted." Eclipse smiles apologetically as she helps the girl steady herself and hands her the try that she'd caught. "Don't you think you have enough though?"
The girl blushes as the other trays right themselves and land in Eclipse's hands. "It's not for me. Angel's breath asked me to get some stuff for her, and obviously I'm not going to refuse Warfalcon's right hand man... well woman but you get what I mean."
Eclipse raises an eyebrow. "Is that so?"
"Oh... I forgot it was a secret." The woman looks embarrassed. "Sorry.. Angel told us all about you guys. What's it like being a decoy?"
"I honestly couldn't tell you... how about we get these snacks to your friends?" Eclipse feigns a smile as she tries not to show her anger.
"Right!" She turns and starts hurrying upstairs. "Everyone is in the game room. I'm Star Knight, Star for short."
"Nice to meet you." Eclipse gives her a warm smile as they enter the room.
She fights the urge to roll her eyes at the woman in the middle of the room. Angel's breath, the hero who could summon wings of light and shoot feathers from them. Her golden blonde hair shimmers in the light shining through the window. 2 men and 3 other women were sitting around her listening as she tells a story about her and Warfalcon stopping a hoard of slime monsters from attacking the city. Eclipse would have to ask Warfalcon about this one.
"Angel's! I'm back with the snacks. Sorry it took me so long." Star grins as she sets the tray down.
"Star, you're such a doll!" Angel's squeals with a smile, however her face quickly drops as she notices Eclipse. "E...Eclipse... what are you doing here?"
Eclipse smirks. "Warfalcon is preoccupied and there's some paperwork that needs signed for the new building. Star already explained that everyone knows about us, so..." Eclipse hands the tablet to her. "Only the leaders can unlock it... you know... for security reasons."
Angel stammers as she looks at the tablet. "I don't... I mean... you really should wait for later. I thought we had agreed not to do this in front of others."
Eclipse shrugs. "I mean... you already told everyone so why would we? Besides the papers have a time limit. If we don't sign them now thenthe work will be delayed and Warfalcon wouldn't be happy now would he?"
"Well... I... I don't remember the passcode." The girl smirks as she hands the tablet back. "We change it every day so that people can't hack the system and I don't remember the one for today."
Eclipse rolls her eyes as she takes the tablet. "Actually all our systems are locked with special fingerprinting.. not pass codes." She presses her thumb to the scanner to prove her point as the tablet unlocks. "I don't appreciate liars. Warfalcon and I will figure out your punishment later."
The woman turns pale as Eclipse turns to walk away, ignoring the whispers in the room. As she quickly signs the paperwork on her way out. Hurried footsteps sound from behind her.
"Wait up!" Star pants for breath as she catches up to Eclipse's long stride. "So angel was lying and you really are the Vice?"
"Uh huh." Eclipse doesn't even look up at the woman as she presses a couple buttons on the tablet.
"You know... my abilities are only physical so I was looking for a more powerful partner to protect me." Star continues as she struggles to keep up.
"Good luck with that." Eclipse drops the tablet into her pocket dimension as she continues towardsthe office, only stopping when Star steps in front of her and forces her to do so.
"I was going to ask Angel out but obviously she's not strong enough... not like you." The woman smiles seductively as she slides a hand up Eclipse's chest. "So why don't we go out for a bite and get to know each other?"
Eclipse grabs her hand but the woman leans up and kisses her lips. She pushes her away, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand in disgust.
"Consent is a huge part of our academy. Unless you want kicked out, then I would recommend not doing that again." Eclipse narrows her eyes at her. "I'm taken so find someone else."
She opens the office door and slips in before the girl can respond. Shaking her head at Anna and Warfalcon's curious look.
"Just dealing with jerks."
