Panic sets over Anna as she bursts into the office. Warfalcon rubs his nose from where the door hit him.
"Anna. What's wrong?" Warfalcon looks concerned.
"Where's Eclipse?!" She looks at him, her voice shook.
"She's on a recon mission. I thought she let you know before she left."
"She did but something's wrong. I don't know why, but I feel like she was in pain and then... I don't know it's like the mate bond is covered and I can barely feel it."
"Are you sure it's not just because it's new?"
She shakes her head. "No. Please...."
He sighs as she begs for his help. "Ok. Let's go see what's going on."
He leads her out of the academy to a warehouse at the edge of town. They moved slowly towards the door, slipping through the cracked opening. The place seemed deserted, no boxes or machines. The only thing was a small object on the floor. Anna runs over and picks it up, Eclipse's watch. It wasn't broken, in fact the strap was perfectly intact. After the last issue, they had made the straps so that only the wearer could remove them. Why would Eclipse take off her watch?
Anna sighs as they walk through town. 3 days without even a peep from Eclipse. Now civilians were disappearing during the night. This was so frustrating! A movement to her right catches her eye. Wasn't that the woman who went missing yesterday?! She signals Warfalcon and takes off after the young lady as she weaves through the buildings. Confusion sets in as the woman enters an abandoned office building.
Warfalcon joins her as they approach the building and opens the door. They stand in shock for a moment as they look around. People milled around the foyer; their faces were those of the ones who had gone missing. Anna grabs a young man.
"What are you guys doing here? Your families are worried." She tries to reason with the man.
His face contorts in anger as he rips his arm from her grasp. "Leave me be lady!"
He starts to walk away as she stares after him in confusion.
"I was starting to wonder when you guys would show up." A deep voice ring down from above.
Looking up, her eyes grow wide. A man stood on a pathway, looking down at them. However, that wasn't what surprised her, her wife stood beside him with her head in her hand looking bored.
"Stronggirl... what's going on?" Warfalcon growls at then as she smirks.
She looks at the man, receiving a nod of approval. The she slips under the railing and lands on her feet in front of them. Her face had a black mark stretching from her neck to her eye and then over her shoulder like fire. Anna took a step back, something was seriously wrong. She knew Eclipse and the look she was giving them looked unnatural on her face.
"Stronggirl... if you could handle this, please?" The man laughs as he walks away.
"Gladly." Her smirk widens as she walks towards them.
"Stronggirl what are you doing?! Come home!" Anna screamed at her.
"Oh dear... I am home." Her eyes turned hard, and she dashed forward, slamming a palm into Warfalcon's chest.
He went flying back as Eclipse turns towards Anna. She raises a hand and ice forms in sharp pieces.
"No... Eclipse... please stop..." Anna's lips quivered.
"Sorry princess..."
Anna closes her eyes as the ice flies towards her, but only water hits her. She looks up in confusion, seeing the same confusion on Eclipse's face. She suddenly remembers what Eclipse had told her when Lindsey had attacked.
