Chapter 19
Two days later,
"Eddie, you're not busy right? I need some advice," Ryzel informed Edward and marched inside the latter's office and plopped on the couch.
Edward gave Ryzel a blank stare and motioned through his stacks of paperwork on his desk. "As you can see, I am not busy," Edward replied sarcastically but Ryzel paid him no mind.
"Good, then. I need your expert opinion."
That caught Edward's attention. "I'm listening."
Ryzel stood up and rubbed his chin, in deep thoughts. From Edward's perspective, something huge must be troubling Ryzel to wear such a distressed expression. After heaving a deep sigh, he looked at Edward seriously. "Eddie, how can I act spoiled?"
Edward almost fell out of his chair at the unexpected question. He got on his feet, approached Ryzel, then before Ryzel knew it, he was out of Edward's office. "Edward! Open the door, you jerk!"
Edward smiled in satisfaction after locking the door. "Now, no one will disturb me." Edward played some music to drown out Ryzel and went back to what he was doing.
Ryzel, on the other hand, growled lowly and kicked Edward's door before returning to his room, stomping his feat in annoyance. How dare that jerk ass Edward close the door on my face? "I'll get him back for this, I promise."
He dropped on his bed and sighed again. Blue left for an appointment , leaving Ryzel bored out of his wits. How can I act more spoiled than I am?
After several minutes of rolling on his bed, he grabbed his laptop from his bedside and called the one person who is more likely to be of help. Ryzel almost screamed in surprise when he saw a tiger on the screen. He held his chest and took deep breaths. "Tora, behave. Come on, go back to your cage." The tiger made a sound, resembling a whine, and left.
A blue-eyed gorgeous man sat down and welcomed Ryzel with a huge grin. "Ryzel! I heard from Edward; you're getting better. I'm so happy for you."
Ryzel chuckled when Jesse beamed at him. "Thank you, Jesse. You and Boss, and everyone else did not give up on me, so here I am."
"No biggie," he dismissed with a smile. "What can I do for you?" Jesse noticed the slight hesitation on Ryzel's face but the latter nodded to himself and inhaled deeply.
"Um... how can I act spoiled?"
Jesse's lips parted in shock and it did not take him long to put things together. He smiled teasingly, earning a groan from Ryzel. "Did Blue finally tire you down?"
"He did not; I liked him from the start."
Jesse blinked, reached for a pillow, then squealed. The purpose of the pillow was to mute his screams or else Trevor will come running to his rescue. "OMG! Sorry. I'm so happy for Blue. It's not one-sided love after all. Patience is truly a virtue."
Ryzel smiled and shook his head. "That's why I'm asking for an advice. He told me that I don't act spoiled enough, but honestly, I do. Anymore else and I would be a bum." Blue will not let Ryzel do anything. Blue takes care of Ryzel's well-being. It's no wonder that the latter gets bored, especially when Blue is not around. Most of the time, he spends time lazying around staring at Blue and whatever it is that Blue does.
