Chapter 26
"Asúl, can I talk to you?" Ryzel asked in the middle of breakfast, with Blue putting food on Ryzel's plate. Edward, on the other hand, learned how to ignore the sweet couple and decided to bury himself by answering emails and other related matters.
"Actually, I also want to tell you something, but you first?" Blue hopes that Ryzel won't be disappointed that their weekend trip will be canceled.
Ryzel nodded and calmly sipped on his yogurt drink, his eyes taking in Blue's handsomeness. Ryzel still can't believe that a person like Blue is his. I think I did something right in my past life to have an understanding, patient, loving, handsome and a very sexy boyfriend.
"A friend of mine invited me for dinner tomorrow evening. I don't think we can leave later for our trip. I'm so sorry, Asúl. We have been looking forward to it." Ryzel leaned closer to Blue and nuzzled on Blue's neck who just chuckled and stroked Ryzel's hair.
"That's fine. Mom called me yesterday to remind me that I have to attend this intimate dinner that she prepared at home. I want to bring you, but I need to settle everything first. I don't want you to get hurt and mom can be..." Blue drawled with a sigh, knowing that when it comes to him, his mother is a little bit unhinged, especially that his mother witnessed his state after Ryzel disappeared.
Ryzel sat up straight and shook his head. "Look at me, Blue." Blue did. "It's alright. Let's be patient. I'm confident enough that I can charm your mom. Moms love me," Ryzel added proudly, earning a snicker from Blue.
"My mom loves her," Edward interjected, his attention still fixed on his computer.
Ryzel smiled proudly. "I told ya."
Blue also smiled, relieved. "Alright. Just tell me what you need and I'll help you woo my mom."
Ryzel chuckled and both of them resumed their breakfast. After that, Edward checked Ryzel's wound and the doctor praised Ryzel because he was healing up nicely. "Just don't do any strenuous activity," Edward reminded Ryzel and walked back to his desk. They were currently at Edward's office.
"By strenuous, you mean..."
"No sex, Ryzel," Edward told him sternly.
Ryzel rolled his eyes. "Can we make out?"
Edward sighed, knowing that Ryzel won't let go of this topic. "As long as you keep it to a minimum. We don't want to put pressure on your head; you are still healing."
Ryzel thought for a second and nodded. "Okay, Eddie. I promise. We won't do anything more than kissing. How long till I fully recover?"
"Five days."
Ryzel's eyes widened. "That's too long. I'm pent up."
"Doctor's orders. If you don't obey me, I'll just call Trevor."
Ryzel glared at Edward. "That's playing dirty." Ryzel cannot disobey his boss after all.
Edward smiled innocently. "I had to. Would you rather I tell Blue?"
"Fuck, no!" Ryzel blurted out in horror. Trevor is scary, but Blue is a different story. When it comes to Ryzel, he can be pretty stubborn, especially if it concerns Ryzel's welfare.
Edward laughed hard. He knows that if he tells Blue to abstain from sex for one month so Ryzel could heal fully, the man will do it. "Blue has good self-discipline, Ryzel. You better behave or you won't have some for a month, or more," Edward threatened with a smirk, leaving Ryzel incredibly annoyed with his friend.
Ryzel was stomping in annoyance when he returned to his room, with Blue typing something on his laptop. Blue raised his head and noticed his boyfriend's displeased expression. He closed his laptop and placed it on the bedside drawer, then opened his arms wide.
