*10 MONTHS LATER*

"Loki!" You whisper yelled at the trickster. If Steve found out you were somehow responsible for whatever he thought he was doing, you were done.
"What on earth are you doing?"

Why was he standing right outside your school?
And why the hell was he looking that hot? Why wear a formal suit to pick someone up from school. Not that you were complaining about how he dressed, no.

The green brought out his eyes beautifully, the white dress shirt looking gorgeous. He was missing a tie and forgot to close a button, but he was looking way too good to be here. To be seen with you. Of course, no one would recognise them. He was probably using magic to stop that from happening.

"Ice cream?" He asked, showing you his chocolate filled cone.

You looked at him in contempt.

He moved towards you,"may I, Astrid?" He asked, gesturing to your bag.

You wanted to tell him all the reasons that made you believe he was utterly and totally an idiot.
So you started with the most obvious one. "You are not allowed out of the tower alone. And -"

"I brought Clint." He interrupted you.

THOUSANDS, that's how many times you had told him to shut up when you were talking.
So you continued ignoring him. As he deserved to be. "Just because we have snuck out before doesn't mean, wait. What?"
He was there with an Avenger.

Who's the idiot? Darling. He smiled so cheekily that you wanted to punch him.

"Yes, it's very funny." Sweetheart. You walked to Clint dumping your bag on Loki.

"For the record I brought you here, not the other way around," Clint pointed out.

You hugged your brother, and Clint too wrapped his arms around you.

You had Loki to thank for that. His magic could not only sheild himself but others. For a while, that's what you did.
He was a great teacher, and it took him less than seven months to make you learn how to control your powers better.

Now you could ignore people's thoughts enough to blure them into insignificant background noises when you wanted to, and were only forced to listen when they were thinking really loud.

You could touch people without fearing to see their memories.

You saw him, standing at a side, as you hugged Clint.

He stuck his tongue out at you. And you scrunched your nose at him. No matter what game you two happened to be playing at any time, he would always go and do something to make you realise how good a friend he was.

"I am to go on a mission tonight." Clint told you as you let go of him.
"Won't be back for a few days. Natasha is going with me. I'll be leaving now. Thought I should meet you once before I left."

"Good riddance," the trickster said from your side.

Before you could give him a piece of your mind, Clint spoke up.

"I heard that you had snuck out with y/n..Astrid." Clint looked at him pointedly.

"You have no proof," Loki answered without missing a beat, an infuriating smile adorning his lips.

"I am a spy Loki. That's what I do for a living. Don't challenge me," Clint said, "I can find proof that you had left the Avengers towers alone."

"But you won't," Loki pointed out, "because I wasn't alone when I snuck out."
