𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐣𝐢 𝐏𝐎𝐕Seeing Hanni go through separation anxiety this morning worries and sickens me. Even worse, she suddenly zoned out during breakfast, tears slipping down her cheeks unnoticed until I called her.
Has it been this bad ever since I left her alone at the mansion two days ago? Is that why she threatened Hyein by pointing a knife at her neck just to be with me?
She's crazy. So deep in love too. It's both concerning and endearing. I can't let out the thought that she might potentially harm herself some day.
I swear to God, I never intended to leave her for long. My absence was brief—just a quick trip to buy some flowers—yet it triggered a full-blown anxiety attack in her.
The look of panic on my baby's face, the tears, the exhaustion in her eyes, her pale complexion—I still remember it all clearly. Just how fragile she can be without my constant presence.I stroll through the park hand in hand with Hanni. Our fingers gently entwined like a heart. Her eyes dance with wonder as she takes in the beauty around us—the shifting colors of the sky, the symphony of birdsong, the gentle rustle of leaves in the breeze.
The sun begins to set, casting a warm glow over the city and everything it touches. I steal glances at her, admiring the way her hair dances in the wind as her smile lights up her face. She's the most beautiful. It feels like God created a very majestic creature then named it Pham Hanni, and I'm the luckiest woman on earth.
I didn't know bringing her to Millennium Park could excite her this much. It's just a basic park, nothing much about it. But seeing Hanni so happy over some birds, I know she's the type to appreciate little things over something big. Maybe she prefers a simple home dinner over a luxurious candlelight dinner in a romantic restaurant.
Lowering my body, I press a long kiss on her cheek, feeling her warmth beneath my lips. I draw her closer by her waist, eliciting a soft giggle from her. Confusion dances in her eyes, evident in the way she looks at me.
"Amore?" She calls me.
"Hmm?" I lavish her cheeks with more kisses. The scent of her, like something powdery and divine, rejuvenates me. I feel as if I'm in heaven.
"Why?" Her voice filled with curiosity.
"Nothing, I just love you," I reply, my words muffled against her skin.
She burst into chuckles. I reluctantly pull away. Taking both of her hands in mine, I bring them to my lips and plant a gentle kiss on each one, my eyes locked with hers.
She seems taken aback by the gesture, but doesn't resist. A soft blush tinges her cheeks, painting them a delicate shade of pink.
"You mean everything to me, tesoro," I whisper. The sincerity in my words echoes in the quiet space between us.
She's speechless. Her eyes look deeply into mine, trying to decipher my true intentions.
"Can't you stop being so romantic for just a second? You must want something. Hmm, let me guess... money?"
I chuckle softly, shaking my head. "I just want you. I don't need anything else. Having you is more than enough for me."
"Minji, seriously, what do you want?" She presses, her patience waning.
A brief silence falls over us, filled only with the sound of our soft breathing. I soften my gaze as I hold her eyes with mine.
