As the night fell and the team retreated to their dorm, Yoru took the opportunity to continue the conversation about Seeker's captivating presence. Gathered with Gekko, Phoenix, and Iso, they lounge in their perspective beds, the dim light casting shadows across their faces as they exchanged stories and shared laughter.
"Okay, I gotta admit," Yoru began, a mischievous glint in his eye, "Seeker's got some serious charm. Did you guys see the way she handled that last mission? Flawless!"
Gekko nodded in agreement, a fond smile playing on his lips. "Yeah, and her radiant power is a game-changer," he added. "It's like she brings a burst of energy wherever she goes."
Phoenix chimed in, his enthusiasm palpable as he recounted his own experiences with Seeker. "And don't even get me started on her sense of humor," he laughed. "She always knows how to lighten the mood, even in the toughest of situations."
Iso, listening quietly to the conversation, felt a familiar pang of jealousy stir within him as his teammates praised Seeker's many virtues. He knew that his feelings for her were a weakness, a vulnerability that could be exploited if anyone ever discovered the truth. In that moment, he knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, he would always be there for her, ready to stand by her side and protect her with every fiber of his being, even if it meant sacrificing his own happiness in the process. For in Seeker, he had found something worth fighting for, something worth dying for, and he would do whatever it took to keep her safe, even if it meant denying his own heart in the process.
