After a few weeks, Seeker found herself sitting with Skye, seeking advice on matters of the heart. Skye, who was in a relationship with the mischievous trickster Yoru, was more than willing to lend a sympathetic ear.
"Skye, I need your advice," Seeker began, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "I... I have feelings for Iso, but I don't know what to do about it. I'm afraid of ruining our friendship, but I can't stop thinking about him."
Skye listened attentively, her expression understanding. "I understand how you feel, Seeker," she replied, offering a reassuring smile. "Being in love can be complicated, especially when it involves a close friend. But remember, it's important to be honest with yourself and with Iso about your feelings."
Seeker nodded, absorbing Skye's words of wisdom. "But what if Iso doesn't feel the same way?" she asked, her voice tinged with worry.
Skye reached out to place a comforting hand on Seeker's shoulder. "Even if Iso doesn't feel the same way, it's better to have your feelings out in the open," she advised gently. "It's better to take the risk and find out than to wonder 'what if' for the rest of your life."
Seeker nodded, feeling a sense of clarity wash over her. "Thank you, Skye," she said gratefully. "I think I know what I need to do now."
As Seeker left their conversation feeling more confident and determined than ever, Skye couldn't help but smile, knowing that she had helped her friend find the courage to follow her heart – even if it meant facing uncertain outcomes. For in matters of love, sometimes the greatest risk is also the greatest reward.
