As Seeker lay in a critical state, her life hanging in the balance, Sage and Iso worked tirelessly to stabilize her condition. Despite the severity of her injuries, Seeker remained surprisingly lucid, her mind consumed with thoughts of Iso and the confession she had been too afraid to make.
As Iso tended to her injuries, Seeker couldn't help but tease him, a mischievous glint in her eyes even in the face of danger. "Hey, Iso, are you hurt?" she quipped, a playful smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "Because if you are, I'm going to need you to step up your game as my knight in shining armor."
Iso couldn't help but chuckle at her antics, his heart heavy with worry yet lifted by her playful spirit. "I'm fine, Seeker," he reassured her, his voice filled with affection. "But you, on the other hand, need to focus on getting better. We can't have our resident hero getting herself killed on my watch."
But as their banter continued, Seeker's playful facade began to crumble, her gaze turning serious as she looked up at Iso with a vulnerability that took his breath away. "Iso, there's something I need to tell you," she began, her voice soft yet filled with determination.
Iso's heart skipped a beat as he listened to her words, his attention fully captured by the seriousness in her tone. "What is it, Seeker?" he asked gently, his hand reaching out to squeeze hers in a gesture of comfort and support.
Seeker took a deep breath, steeling herself for what was to come. "Iso, there's nothing scarier to me right now than the thought of never having the chance to tell you how I feel," she confessed, her voice trembling slightly with emotion. "I... I care about you more than words can say, Iso, and I don't want to live with the regret of never telling you the truth, I love you Iso"
As Iso looked into Seeker's eyes, he felt a wave of emotion wash over him, his own feelings for her laid bare in the intensity of their connection. "Seeker, I... I care about you too," he admitted, his voice filled with sincerity. "More than you'll ever know and I love you too"
And in that moment, as they lay together in the quiet of the medical bay, their hands intertwined and their hearts laid bare, Iso and Seeker knew that no matter what the future held, they would face it together – united by a love that had survived even the darkest of times.
