As news spread throughout the protocol of Seeker falling ill, it became a topic of conversation among those who admired her, including the male agents and her closest friends. Yoru, Phoenix, Gekko, Harbor, Sova, Cypher, Chamber, and Iso all expressed their concern, eager to lend their support in any way they could.
But it was Iso who was the first to visit Seeker's room, his heart pounding with worry as he knocked softly on her door. When she answered, her hair tousled and her cheeks flushed with fever, Iso couldn't help but feel a surge of protectiveness wash over him.
"Seeker," he murmured, his voice gentle as he stepped into her room, "I heard you weren't feeling well. I thought I'd come by and see if there's anything I can do to help."
Seeker smiled weakly, her eyes brightening at the sight of Iso's familiar face. "Iso," she whispered, her voice barely above a whisper, "I'm so glad you're here."
As Iso took in the sight of Seeker lying in bed, her hair cascading around her like a halo, he found himself struck by just how beautiful she looked, even in her weakened state. And as he sat by her side, offering her comfort and companionship in her time of need, he couldn't help but feel a sense of peace wash over him, knowing that he was exactly where he belonged – by Seeker's side, caring for the girl who had captured his heart.
And though he knew that his reasons for being there were rooted in duty and obligation, deep down, Iso couldn't deny the truth that lay in his heart – that he would do anything for Seeker, even if it meant sacrificing his own happiness in the process. For in her, he had found something worth fighting for, something worth dying for, and he would do whatever it took to keep her safe, even if it meant denying his own heart in the process.
