"Sage, we need you now!" Iso's voice crackled over the comms, urgency and fear evident in every word. "Prepare yourself, Seeker's in critical condition. We need to act fast."
As he rushed to Seeker's side, Iso couldn't help but feel a surge of anger and frustration bubbling within him, directed not at Seeker, but at the circumstances that had led them to this moment.
"Why did you do that?!" Iso's voice was harsh as he scolded Seeker, his hands shaking with emotion as he assessed her injuries. "You have gotten yourself hurt this critical and you shouldn't have done it due to the fact that my shield is up!"
But as Iso looked into Seeker's eyes, his anger melted away, replaced by a profound sense of gratitude and concern. For in that moment, he realized that Seeker's actions had been driven not by recklessness, but by an unwavering devotion to her team and her duty.
And as Sage rushed to Seeker's side, her steady hands working to stabilize her injuries, Iso vowed to himself that he would do whatever it took to ensure that Seeker pulled through – for in her, he had found not just a teammate, but a kindred spirit, a soulmate whose sacrifice had reminded him of the true meaning of bravery and selflessness and his growing feelings for her.
