~Austin's POV~

I was in my room laying on my bed just thinking of ways to ask Pia to the Winter Formal.

Sure I could just come right out and ask her but that wouldn't be good enough she needs better.

She deserves better, especially from me.

I could do one of those cheesy promposals except replace prom with formal

Yeah... no. Bad idea Austin.

After hours of wracking my brain I finally got up and walked over to my parent's room to ask them for some ideas. See I'm fine about asking my dad but if I ask my mom she'll be asking all kinds of questions. She gets way too excited over this kind of stuff.

I stopped in front of their door.

If I do this, I may never hear the end of it but I also get a cute classy idea and if I turn around I'll go back to getting blanks.

Ugh.

I pushed open their door and walked to the end of their bed.

I guess my mom read my mind because I didn't have to say anything. She hopped out of the bed and sat me on the floor

"Okay so I think that you should do something cute like a poem. Now don't worry it won't be a long poem or anything I said something like it."

"So a line basically?"

"Yeah, but a cute one."

While my mom and I tried to come up with a cute line I called Becky and asked, "So Becky, if you were to be asked to the winter formal by someone you like, how would you want to be asked?"

"Ummm"

"Matter of fact get over here."

"o-okay see you in a bit."

I texted Alex to come over too.

By the time Becky got here my mom and I had our poetic line.

"Hey, okay so we need your help. I'm trying to think of ways to ask Pia to the formal."

"Pia?"

"Yeah"

"So you're going to ask her to the winter formal?"

"Well yeah... You okay?"

"Yes, so what you got so far?"

                Pia's POV

I got ready like I usually did. I just wore a simple white tee with dark skinny jeans and a beige sweater. My hair was still curly from the day before.

I drove myself to school today Austin said he had a meeting for basketball. I guess it makes sense with their game coming up in a few weeks, I don't know.

I walked on to the campus just as the warning bell rang.

I texted Austin and asked where he was. It feels weird already just not seeing him yet. I'm so used to him walking me to my locker.

When I opened my locker I noticed an envelope that wasn't there yesterday. It had my name on it.

"Oh my gosh did someone ask you to the formal?" Kylie asked.

"You're so lucky I saw you coming. Don't ever try to sneak up on me."

"So did you get asked?" She completely ignored me.
