"Pia, where did you go after the dance? I didn't see you leave."

I was on the phone with Kylie. It was 1am and I was still in my dress.

"I was with Austin"

"Well are you going to tell me about your night?"

"well... It started out weird. Like an awkward kind of weird I guess. Then we started dancing and got to be ourselves and just being with him, laughing with him just made it better."

"Keep going"

"Once we got laughing we didn't stop. I want to say we danced the entire night but that would be a lie. About halfway through around 9, we left. We went outside and walked for a bit and talked. We talked about everything. We sat on the bench by the big tree in front of the school."

"Well what did you guys talk about?"

"We talked about our parents, senior year, graduating, college I mean everything. he opened up about his family and I opened up about mine. We shared secrets."

"Secrets?"

"Yes. And Don't think I;m telling you any. We left school and went to Checkers and talked some more. Except this time it was about us. Our relationship whatever it was at the time. he told me how he felt about me Kylie. It was amazing. He really likes me and he always has. Remember the time I saw him when I was walking Jax and he was jogging... shirtless. Well he said he was so nervous once he got in front of me. His heart was pounding and it wasn't just from him running. He told me, he always has butterflies whenever he's around me or near me and even then just sitting across from me talking to  him.  He really likes me and wants to be with me and he doesn't care about his parents and I told him I don't care about mine, what they think is what we meant just in case you thought of something different."

"Keep going"

I laughed, "Well after that we talked about our plans that summer after graduation. About going to the beach, hiking, trying new things everything. I want to go on an adventure with him, Kylie and he wants to too."

"Pia, your so in love with him aren't you?"

"I might be." I was cheesing from ear to ear, "We left waffle house and walked and talked about pretty much everything. The sky, the moon the stars. He walked me all the way home and well Kylie, I have a boyfriend and it's official this time. We kissed for the first time by the lake when you first enter the neighborhood and it was the best part of my night hell it was the best part of my senior year."

"Well don't leave me hanging DETAILS!"

"His lips were so soft. And let me just tell you this, it wasn't just any old kiss, we were just standing there in front of each other and he gently put his hand on my waist like he was kind of unsure at first, he was hesitant. But he pulled me closer and held me in his arms for a little bit and he held my face in his hands and kissed me. Kylie, I've felt so happy all of my life. Never."

"I don't want to ruin your mood or anything and I wish I could get kissed like that but, what time did you get home?"

"Um, 12."

"12?! and you waited an hour to call me? but what did your parents say?"

"They were asleep."

"Hey Kylie?"

"yeah?"

"Austin's calling."

"Then why are you on the phone with me?"
