EPILOGUE
BLANK SPACEa few months ago mike and el announced that they were dating to their friends.
some where shocked, others weren't. now that they look back at it, they weren't really that good at keeping it hidden.
max was really supportive but always told el that if mike needed be put in his place that she could always give her a call.
el was beyond grateful for her friends, and her boyfriend.
but now it was time to take a big jumps.
college.
mike and el applied to the same college and to their surprise they both got accepted.
they thought it was just going to be the two of them attending but turns out lucas got accepted as well.
max on the other hand decided it wasn't really for her at the moment.
don't get her wrong, she did want to go to college. she wants to go hang out with el, attend the same classes, and all of that!
but how she had a job. no time for fun!
she began working almost immediately. she was a waitress, sure, she wanted to go to college but she didn't exactly have to money to. so she was saving up to go to college and to get her own apartment.
as for the others they're also attending college. lucas got accepted into purdue, the same college and mike and el.
dustin got accepted into a different college out in utah, he got a scholarship in robotics. he was thrilled to go, but was devastated to leave his friends and family.
only good thing to it was being able to see suzie.
will on the other hand tried to get into purdue but wasn't accepted, so he went to a community college close to his house.
joyce wasn't exactly thrilled with the fact will wasn't accepted into purdue but she still wanted the best for her son and as long as he was happy she was too.
regardless, they were all happy. they all kept in contact and even hung out from time to time.
but not as much as before, they're all adults now and they need to take on those responsibilities, which, really sucked.
with dustin being in utah, it wasn't as fun anymore. ya, they still had so much fun but dustin not cracking his lame dad jokes anymore or ranting about robotics made them really want to go to utah and drag him back.
all they hoped for was for them all to stay in contact and to see each other from time to time.
but now the real focus was college and not letting anything get in the way for them.
college just has to go well.
but college isn't going well for mike and el already. they had separated dorms due to the rule of boys and girls not being able to share one.
they just had to see how this would go.
but, that's a story for another time.
