Baukgo- Friday

I pulled the covers up under my chin, the scratchy material was annoying. I rolled over towards the steady beeping. I reached over trying to shut my alarm off. When my hand didn't connect with my clock I squinted my eyes open only to slam them shut against the staggering white light.

What the fuck was going on? Where was I?

I laid on my back and tried to remember what happened.

I rushed into the bathroom, my heart beating frantic. I couldn't breath. My lungs stopped working. Deku.

Deku reaching for me. Yelling for me.

Then nothing.

I died. That's what happened. I died. I'm in limbo or some shit. Fuck I died.

I pried my left eye open and looked around. My eyes yelling at me in protest. I looked around the white sterile room with a few chairs at the end of the bed against the back wall and one painting of a giant cherry blossom tree on the opposite wall. Where was I?

I sat up in bed and rubbed the crusties and sleep out of my eyes.

I turned as I heard a gasp in the doorway. The old hag stood there looking like shit, a coffee cup in hand.

"Katsuki." she breathed as she set the cup down on the end table and rushed me, wrapping me in her arms.

"OMG! You almost killed me and your father. Don't you ever do that again!" She said as she shook in my arms

"Yeah yeah. I'm sorry. I won't do it again... What even happened?" I asked as I rubbed her back

My mom was a strong, opinionated women. She was never scared, never rattled. And yet here she was shaking in my arms uncontrollably. I had scared her. I did this to the strongest person I knew. And I felt like complete shit about it.

"Izuku found you. You were having a panic attack. You're body completely freaked out and shut down... your heart stopped for three minutes. Izuku that sweet child gave you CPR which bought you more time till Recovery Girl made it to you. You really freaked him and your classmates out." she said with a huff, she scooted back on the edge of the bed and looked at me as she wiped her tears away

"Don't cry mom. I'm okay." I said as I wiped a missed tear away off the apple of her cheek

"I know. I know." she took a deep breath as she closed her eyes willing the tears to stop

"Are you up for a visitor? He's been here since they committed you." she said looking out in the hall

"Sure." I said confused

"Okay. I'll go get him." she said as she walked towards the door

"He said it's fine. Yes I'm sure. He's okay. The doctors and Recovery Girl assure me he is stable. His body just needed rest after freaking out." I heard her tell someone

Deku walked in looking worse than my mom.

He usual bright eyes were dull and lifeless, he had dark purple moons under his eyes. His skin looked pale and almost grey. He wore black, head to toe besides his signature red shoes. He had the navy blue shirt he wore the other day clutched in his hands.

"I'll be back in a bit." my mom called over her shoulder as she shut my room door

"Hey." I said as he stood at the end of my hospital bed

It took a few beats before he looked into my eyes. My breath caught in my throat. He looked like he was in so much pain. His eyes had lost their sparkle. I couldn't read his face other than agony. I'd never seen Deku look like this before. It hurt to look at him. I looked down at his hands as he rung the navy shirt twisting it one way and then the other.
