Cato Hadley was beyond furious, and it was blatantly obvious to those who knew him, and to those that didn't. It was no secret to anyone living in District 2 that Cato Hadley, had an extremely short temper, his family knew it, his friends knew it, and his peers knew it. That's why overtime it had become something of an unspoken rule, that when Cato Hadley was furious, he was to be left alone. Left alone by everyone expect his best friends, Lysander, Roman and Romulus. The majority of the time, no one ever knew why Cato was angry, they'd just know to steer clear of him during those periods of the time.

Lysander Cran walked into the training academy's cafeteria, alongside two of his best friends who happened to be twin brothers. Roman and Romulus Cicero were easily the biggest trouble makers Lysander knew, Cato knew, and the entirety of District 2. It wasn't often Roman and Romulus behaved seriously, so when they did, everybody knew that the matter at hand was one that they couldn't joke about. If it was up to the Cicero twins, they would make light of any situation in order to defuse the tension, or to just generically be facetious— However, that would never run amongst the presence of Cato Hadley, if they dare stepped out of line when he was angry they'd most definitely suffer the consequences, consequences which where more often than not brutal.

After all, they didn't call him bloody, brutal Cato for no reason.

The group of three quietly prepared themselves, before apprehensively approaching their friend.
"Telling by that look I reckon it's something to do with—"

"You better not say that in front of him." Lysander murmured, nudging Romulus in the side slightly.

"Do you think I'm stupid?" Romulus sniped, in a whispered tone as they drew closer to Cato. "He almost killed me last time I made a joke about her."

"I know not to make that mistake." Lysander said with a slight shiver as he recalled the time Cato and Clove had fought, and in response Romulus had announced that he'd make a move on her whilst she was in the mood to spite Cato, something he didn't take too kindly to. Absolutely everyone in District 2 knew not to make a move on Clove, and if they did, it was clear to Lysander, Roman, Romulus and more importantly to Cato, that that person wanted to die.
What pissed Cato off the most, was when himself and Clove fought, and boys around the District would assume Clove has single again— They'd then make the fatal mistake of trying to shoot their shot, something which often wound them in the infirmary for weeks on end.
Cato often got reprimanded for his violent, and frankly antisocial behaviour, however that never stopped him. It only made his temper worsen.

"For the record, I think you're stupid." Roman murmured, with a slight chuckle. "I have no clue how we're related."

"Cato." Lysander announced, as they freely sat themselves down at his table. As expected, Cato had ignored his best friend's arrival as well as greeting, and instead continued to absentmindedly poke away at his food.

"Awkward." Romulus hummed under his breath, warranting him a sharp look from both Roman and Lysander.

"How was practice Cato?" Roman tried, but no avail, instead receiving silence.

Romulus couldn't help but roll his eyes in response to his best friend, he understood perfectly that everyone got angry and Cato was no exception, he was human after all— But what he couldn't stand in that moment, and all the times before is when they attempt to get to the root of the problem and work through it with him they get nothing but the cold shoulder. No verbal response, no physical response, not even so much as an acknowledgment. It often made Cato appear,
stubborn, childish and somewhat immature.
