——————————————————"Oh my God." Clove breathed, a shaky instable breath. "Cato—"
"Calm down." He said sternly, calmly pacing around the body that lay before them.
"Calm down?" She asked, angrily pausing to glare at him. "Calm down?" She shouted that time, unable to stop the stream of tears flowing down her cheeks. "I swear to go God, if you tell me to calm down one more time, i'll—"
"You'll what?" He asked bitterly, stopping dead in his tracks, glaring at her as he did so. "You need to calm the hell down, before you get us caught."
"This is serious, Cato." She snapped, sidestepping the stream of blood that pooled from the figure's head. "There's no way we're getting away with this—"
"Clove," Cato snapped harshly, causing her to flinch slightly. "I really need you to calm down, I can't hear myself think."
"This is going to come back to bite us in the ass." Clove murmured, leaning against the wooden chest of draws, in the hotel room. Clove's grip tightened on the draws due to the strong wave of nausea that had suddenly hit her— She knew she was having a panic attack, and her first response was to follow the five steps of action, her mother had taught her to do when having a panic attack.
As she went to take a deep breath, she briefly glanced down at ground, and immediately lost any shred of sanity she had left. "Fuck!" She panted, sinking to the ground. "Cato," She choked.Cato took a deep sigh, and turned to face Clove who was now sunk on the floor of the corner of the room. The deep crimson coloured blood from the floor had now soaked the bottom of Clove's floor length silver gown, "You're joking." Cato sighed, "Okay, don't panic—"
"Don't tell me not to panic Cato." She whisper-shouted, "We may come from powerful families, but we're most certainly not getting away with this—"
"Don't talk that way." He whispered, lowering himself onto the tip of his toes. "I need you to listen to me," He said, placing the palm of his hand on her now tear-stained cheek, "We're going to make this go away—"
"It'll never work." She argued back, in a whispered tone.
"It will." He said sternly, "I understand you're worried, but I did what I had to do. I couldn't stand by for one more second and let him hurt you," The tone in which Cato explained himself, told Clove that he was increasingly becoming angry. "and if that gets me put away then let it be so." He finished with a shrug, Cato took a second to pause. Clove allowed her eyes to briefly flicker up to his, in search of some comfort, and luckily for her— Clove had caught Cato at the right time.
In that moment in time, Cato's eyes were filled with a mixture of different emotions; For Clove, having known Cato for over twenty years of her life often paid off, especially at times like that, when words could no longer be put to use. That's when Clove would rely reading his facial expressions, as well as the pool of emotions swirling in his eyes:Concern.
Confidence.
Adoration.
Love..."Okay." Clove choked a sob, unable to find the right words.
"Good girl." He murmured, Clove quickly, and gently pressed her lips against his. Instantly feeling her troubles, melt away. "Let's go." He announced, outstretching his hand, which Clove instantly took into her own.

"How could you both be this reckless?" Darius Hadley whisper-shouted, angrily running his hands through his hair.
