An image of Marineford appeared before them. Still a long way before they reach it.

Leona looked through the telescope at the battle that had already begun. Whitebeard apparently came to the aid with his allies.

Ace, you chose a good captain.

Leona smiled gently, but then became serious. She took stock of the situation. Who among the pirates and navy is on the battlefield. She assessed the differences in power. She controlled the situation between the pirate ships and the Navy ships. She watched the battle unfold.

Suddenly, Navy ships appeared, cutting off the pirates from retreating. She narrowed her eyes.

Her eyes fell back on Ace on the platform. Her heart beat faster, with pain, seeing his hunched, wounded figure. His look of resignation drilled a hole in her soul.

She folded the telescope confidently and hid it under her vest.

"Everything is ready?" she asked.

"Everything is in place, Captain," Toru told her happily.

She looked at him. She looked at the rest of the crew taking their positions. It was so strange to see them in normal clothes. Each of them gave up their sailor clothes.

Her officer's outfit changed to simple black pants, a white tank top, a black vest, and a red jacket. She put a white coat over her shoulders.

Any naval references on the ship are gone, replaced with new things.

She assessed the weather conditions and the state of the metals in the area before smiling wryly at Vincent, stating:

"We will kill them like nothing."

"Definitely," Vincent confirmed with the same smile.

"Fire at Navy ships!" Leona roared. "We'll take care of them first, then we'll move on! We're going according to plan!"

A collective shout answered her.

The guns began to bark. Her crew runs around the deck. Every now and then the sound of a gunshot could be heard. The bullets hit enemy ships.

Cannonballs were fired towards them.

Leona pushed back her short hair and smiled defiantly. Her bangs were in her eyes again. She bent her knees. She waved her right hand sideways. The cannonballs stopped in midair. She held out her other hand, wide open. Slowly she began to clench her fingers.

Cracking noises were heard from the nearest ship. The crackling turned into bangs. Cannons flew through the ship, creating holes in the deck. Some dragged sailors into the water behind them, some fell through the holes created by the impacts. The metal frames of the ships were cut out in an unnatural way, crushing the ship and breaking the boards. It was slowly destroying the ship. There were screams. The sailors held on as best they could to avoid falling into the water.

However, her eyes remained blank. She bit her lip as the screaming intensified. Her defiant smile remained unchanged. She left the ship unable to move or attack.

Two other ships tried to cut off their escape by passing on either side of the ship.

She leaned further forward. She stretched her arms wide open in both directions, towards both ships. She quickly crossed her fingers.

She bit her lip. There were loud bangs and people screaming again. Both ships suffered the same fate as the previous one, in a shorter time. The ships bent unnaturally, like compressed fruit.

The omnipresent screams from the sailors' ships were overwhelming.

She felt herself slowly reaching her edge as she looked at the fate of the now enemy soldiers. Her heart ached so much every time she spotted a slightly familiar face. The smile fell a little.
