Pasta Night pt.1

        A while later we got to the restaurant, I couldn't decide so had him pick. We ended up going to Olive Garden. We got to the front and a lady told us she'd get us a table. We followed her to a small booth table and we both took a seat. She handed us our menus. My eyes glided through the selection.

       "I wonder if they have chicken nuggets for you since you're such a picky eater" I teased Johnnie. "Only on the kid's meal unfortunately" He sighed jokingly, "I don't think I'd pass for 12 and under anymore." I smiled and giggled a bit at his dramatic sigh. "Yeah, maybe if we turned back time 14 years" I laughed. 

       A while later the server came back with our appetizers of bread sticks and we ordered our drinks, he got a Dr.Pepper while I got a (f/d). She came back once again a few moments later with our drinks, she had a friendly smile but I couldn't help but feel like her smile got a lot friendlier when she took Johnnie's order. I'm not usually the jealous type but for some reason my stomach churned. 

     She was pretty too, everything I wasn't. She was tall, blonde, she had green eyes, and she was curvy in a good way. I wrapped my arms around my stomach and stared down at the table, expressionless. 

     Does he find her more attractive than me? What if they hit it off and he has no need for me anymore? I look so disgusting, she's so beautiful. It's unfair. He probably doesn't even want me here.. I thought to myself whilst tapping my foot. 

     "Y/n?" Johnnie said softly. I snapped out of my thoughts and turned up again to face him and stopped shaking my leg. "Oh, sorry I zoned out." I forced a weak smile. I looked at me with a bit of concern in his eyes but he shook it off a moment later. "Alright," He picked up a bread stick, "bread stick?" He offered, holding it out to me. I smiled and shook my head lightly, "No thanks, I don't want to get full before I get my entree." He gave a slight nod then started snacking on the bread stick in his hand, picking off pieces and eating them. "Did you like the movie?" I asked leaning forward against the table a bit and crossing my arms on it. "It was a little boring, but I didn't mind since I was with you." He smiled, I felt myself smile as well. I felt small butterflies fluttering around in my stomach. 

     We talked about random stuff for a while til our server came back around holding a tray with 2 plates on top of it. She handed us our food, dropping a subtle flirty wink to Johnnie before turning away to leave. It seemed like he either ignored it or just didn't notice but a part of me still felt insecure even if he seemed uninterested. I began to slowly eat my food, slurping up a few noodles. Johnnie smiled at me, he brought his hand to my face and gently rubbed over my lip with his thumb. "Sorry, you had a little bit of sauce on your face." I felt my cheeks get red, "Oh, thanks" I said, stammering over my words a bit.

((Time skip))

      I checked down at my phone at the time, it's seemed like time had been going by so fast. I didn't want the night to end but I knew it'd have to sooner or later. I put my phone back down, "Should we split the bill?" I asked, pulling my wallet from my purse. "No, it's my treat" He said smiling, "It's the least I can do, I really enjoyed my time with you"

Ik this is really short but I'm in a rush to get something posted so yall don't get bored😭 I'm really sorry it's taken me so long to post, I won't go too much into detail but I've been really unmotivated and sad and stuff so it's been hard for me to write or find time to write n stuff.
