"Aziz, Huma," Nihat said as he and John were hunting and came across the Divit elders.

"Nihat." Aziz and Huma said in joint.

"So, that's your boy?" Aziz asked, feeling anger in his veins when he saw some similarity to his own son. But he is able to hide them due to his power of not showing his true feelings to anyone other than his wife, and that's because her power is to feel any hidden feelings.

"Yes," Nihat said proudly, trying to control his hidden feelings. He knows what Huma's power is, and he cannot let them know that John is not his son. "This is John." Nihat placed his hands over John's 10-year-old shoulders.

"John?" Aziz question. "That's an American name. Why John?"

"Our daughters shoes it, and Mevkibe and I liked it." He said, controlling his emotions. "It's like saying, Can in Turkish."

"Like my son." He said.

"Correct."

"I see." He exhales.

"Baba (dad), everything ok?" The young vampire is feeling the hate everyone has.

"Yeah. Yeah." Niuhat looked at his son lovingly. They are Aziz and Huma Divit. They are from the North." He explains.

"The North?" John asked worriedly.

"It's okay, son. There's no need to be scared," Aziz said to John as he stretched out his hand. The young John looked at his father, asking for permission, and Nihat nodded, showing John that yes, we don't like them, but we're not afraid of them either. And John stretched out his hand and placed it on top of Aziz. "Just because the South and the North don't really like each other, doesn't mean we don't work together. Your baba (father) and I have been working together for a very long time." Aziz gently told the young vampire, and John nodded.

"Well, have fun hunting," Aziz said.

"You too." And they all blurred out the opposite way to where they were going.

"Did you see it?" Aziz asked Huma, feeling the rage in his veins.

"Of course I did," Huma responded in an angry tone. "Could it be a coincidence?"

"I hope so." He said dangerously. "Was he lying?"

"I wasn't able to tell. Nihat's emotions were the same as they are every time we are around him," she explains.

"Then we don't know." He looked at the lovely view he had of Istanbul in front of him.

"No."

"Huma," He looked at his wife. "If Can got with one of the Aydin girls, I would kill him myself." He growled at his last word and exhaled angrily.

"And as much as it hurts me, I would help you," she said. " Aziz, but he's still young. Let's wait; kids change. Please." She asked her husband for more time. Even though she was mad at what had just happened, Can is her son, and she didn't want to go to that extreme.

Aziz saw the pleading in his wife's eyes and nodded. "A few years." She gave him a lovely smile. "I want to make sure. Please. He is our son. Please."

"I know." He hugged his wife, feeling her pain, and then they went hunting.

5 years later

"How's the family?" Aziz asked Nihat at their weekly elder's meeting.

"Good, good." He looked at Aziz, bringing his eyebrows together.

"Don't look at me like that old man." Aziz joked. "Just because we are rivals doesn't mean I don't respect your family, plus everyone brings their family to the annual meetings, except you. The only ones who come are Leila and Mevkibe. So, I'm just wondering.
