We are currently on our way to the underworld.
We had convinced the person at the desk that we were dead, even though I'm pretty sure he knew we were lying.
We were following the big crowd of dead people walking to the underworld.
We were trying to get through the crowd.
It was very awkward.
We kept having to whisper "excuse me," every like 2 seconds.
Man! This is like how it'll be when I die. Doesn't sound fun.
We made it to the front of the line after a WHILE.
I could see the Cerberus Hades three-headed dog who guarded the underworld. He was staring at us, and it seemed on guard.
"Hi, sir, we are dead," Percy said in a very awkward way.
"You're not dead," the person said.
"Y-yes we are," I say also in an awkward tone.
"Fine," the person said and snapped his fingers, Cerberus was running after us.
Percy quickly handed us a crystal looking ball, and we started sprinting.
I put the crystal in my back pocket and sprinted.
The Cerberus was catching up, but I wasn't the one farthest.
It was Grover who was Farthest from us, closer to Cerberus.
Cerberus caught up to Grover and snatched him into his mouth.
"Grover!" Percy yelled when he saw Grover get picked up by Cerberus.
Suddenly, the Cerberus quit chasing us.
We stopped running and looked in the direction of where the Cerberus was.
We couldn't see Cerberus because of the crazy fog.
When I turned to Percy and Annabeth to say something.. I noticed Annabeth wasn't there.
"Hey, where's Annabeth?" I said in a quiet, concerned tone.
Apparently, Percy hasn't noticed yet because he looked in the direction of where Annabeth 'was' and seemed shocked.
"Annabeth," Percy said, not in a quiet tone, and started walking toward the Cerberus.
"Percy, what do you think you're doing?" I ask, nudging his shoulder to get his to stop walking toward the Cerberus.
Percy looked back at me and said, "What, so you think I'm doing, two of our friends are this way, come on."
He was right.
It would be rude if we didn't try to help not only one but two friends to get away from a deadly Cerberus.
Percy continues walking, and I join him.
We can now see Cerberus, but we are to the side of the three-headed dog, and then we see Annabeth scratching the fur.
She looks back at us.
"I'm comforting it, I'm trying to get Grover out of its mouth so get can get out of here quickly.
Suddenly, one of the heads of the Cerberus opens, and you can hear Grover yelling.
"Grover!?" I yell and start rumming in the direction.
Once I get out of the fog, I can see Grover, who is covered in Cerbeus's. If you couldn't guess, it looks very, VERY gross.
"Grover, you okay?" I ask and help him up.
Apparently, Percy was right behind me because Percy helped me get Grover, who is a slimy mess up off the floor.
"Where's Annabeth?" Grover asks.
"She is calming Cerberus down with the limited time we have, we have to get to the top of the hill and fond a distraction for it, we have to go quick," Percy says in a rush.
I looked toward the cliff we were right by and tried to find a way to get up it.
I found an area where you could walk up the cliff and hoped it was a quick and short one.
I ran to the area and started walking/ climbing up it.
Percy and Grover stayed close behind.
We made it to the top very quickly and went to the edge near where Cerberus and Annabeth were.
"Anyone got something to distract Cerberus. He's getting out of control, it seems."
"I do," Grover says and gets something out of his pocket.
It was a figit toy type thing, but it also looked like a dog toy because it was a bouncy ball that had a yellow star in the middle.
Grover threw it down to Cerberus, and a Cerbrrus went crazy and I assume I grabbed it.. I have no clue it was full of fog.
Then, when the mist clears a little, we see Annabeth hanging on the cliff at arms reach.
"Annabeth!" Percy says, sounding relieved, and we all help her to her feet.
We walked through the forest of the underworld, which was very unsettling.
It was the most erriest forest I'd ever been in.
Suddenly, we see statues of what I'd assume as dead people.
"What happened to these people?" Percy asked.
Funny, I thought, I was thinking the same thing.
"It's people who had regrets during their life," Grover said.
We decided to keep walking, but we didn't get far until we noticed that Annabeth wasn't with us.
We were pretty far into the forest, and they was a lot of fog.
"Annabeth!" Percy yelled, and his voice cracked. He yelled her name again.
Percy started sprinting to where Annabeth possibly was.
Annabeth's leg was trapped by the thing that said you had a regret in your life.
Percy desperately tried to get the thing off her foot, and Annabeth kept telling him that she would be okay, but he kept refusing.
"Percy," Grover said softly, "sorry, but we do have to continue."
Percy finally gave up and stood back up.
We walked away back into the forest, I was just hoping I would see Annabeth again.
