What happend to you Luke?

It was the next day, I was all packed, but still had a little while left.

Percy and I were hanging out with Luke. We couldn't find Annabeth at all.

"Why dont we take a walk to the beach one last time," Luke said.

"Sure," I said.

"Sure," Percy said.

We walked through camps little forest where capture the flag takes place.

We made our way to the beach and set up three chairs so we could just sit and chat for a bit.

We sat down and talked for a little.

"Wait, we're missing something," Luke said. Then, three cokes appeared.

I assumed it was because Luke was a son of Hermes, the God of travel.

"So, uh, you guys miss being on a quest," Luke asked suddenly.

"With monsters attacking every way? Percy said.

"So, do you miss it?"

"Yeah,"Percy admitted.

"Vaugley miss it," I say.

I didn't miss the quest that much. It was just a quest, I got made fun of by monsters and gods.

I promised myself that it wouldn't affect me, but it has a little toll on me still.

Luke crumpled his Coke can and threw it into the creek, which was against camp rules.

'No littering'

"The heck with Laurl Wreaths," Luke said, " I'm not going to end up like those dusty trophies in the Big House attic."

"You sound like you're leaving," I say.

"Yeah, I am leaving."

Luke snapped his fingers, and a fireball sort of thing came flying at me.

I was just expecting him to snap and leave.

When the fire vanished from the object that was now on my leg..

OH MY GODS, IT'S A SCORPIAN!!!!

The Scorpian was crawling up my leg, so I couldn't move.

"Luke.. what are you doing?" I ask, talking slowly.

Percy grabbed his pen out and turned it into riptide.

"I wouldn't do that for y/n's sake," Luke said, "Scorpians can jump up to five meters and their stingers can pierce right through her clothes, she would be dead in 60 seconds."

Well, this is totally not scary!

The scorpian was crawling up my leg and was now to my calf.

I looked to Percy, who has riptide ready, but since what Luke just said he couldn't fight.

"Why are you doing this, Luke? What happened with you that would make you like this?" I say cautious of the Scorpian that was crawling up my calf.

"The outside world taught me, here, camp, you might think they teach you things, but they don't," Luke said. He was sounding like a villain.

"Kronos," Percy said in realization.

"You work for Kronos," Percy said, still shook.

Luke gave me of those evil smirks that the villain would give in movies.

Percy raised his sword, ready for attack.

Luke laughed a little, "Better be cautious young man because -"
