When they arrived back at headquarters, they pulled up into the parking garage and started walking back to base. Rebecca was a sandy mess, and she couldn't wait for the opportunity to take a shower. She was still a little shaky form earlier, but was hoping to sleep it off.

"I'm proud of you, ya know." Colby said nudging her shoulder as they reached the elevator. "You took them down basically by yourself. You done a whole lot better than what I had planned."

Rebecca looked up at his gleaming face, and her lips curled upward. "Are you saying I'm better than you?"

Colby stepped on the elevator and motioned for her to follow him. He pressed the button before continuing. "No one's better than me, Quin. I'm just letting you know you done good."

Rebecca rolled her eyes. "You're such a prick. No wonder no one likes you."

Colby chuckled. "I don't need anybody to like me, just you."

Rebecca looked up at him. "Well unfortunately for you, I don't like you either."

Colby placed a hand on his chest. "That hurt." He then turned his head towards the elevator doors. "Jokes aside, Im hoping this will elevate our team status, and you for the matter."

Rebecca furrowed her eyebrows. "Everyone knows me already...they know what I'm capable of—"

"No," He started, throwing a hand up. "People don't. Sure, they know what you're dad is capable of, but you, my dear, they do not."

Rebecca protested. "I have went on hundreds of missions, Lopez—"

"And I'm not saying you haven't." He said turning fully towards her. She swallowed. "Im saying that, now that you are with me, people are going to realize the reason I'm marrying you is because you're better than your father. You're my equal, Rebecca. In more ways than one."

Rebecca leaned up against the wall of the elevator, and peered up at him. She could see his seriousness right through his eyes, so she knew he wasn't lying to her. She looked at his eyes but they didn't meet. Instead, his were on her lips. Her heart sped up, and she couldn't help but to look into his eyes ones again.

This time they were on hers. He leaned down, and she knew he wasn't going to stop. Not with the way he was looking at her. With amaze. With adornment. With...love. She leaned forward too, and was mere inches from his face. In fact, one move would have her lips brushing his. And in that one move, she leaned up and shoved her right hand into his balls. "Oh..." he groaned backing away.

Rebecca laughed. "Dear sweet, handsome, Commander," she said mocking him. "I hope you know I do not posses the same attraction you have towards me."

Colby smirked, and rubbed a hand down his suit. "Oh come on. I've flirted with you the moment you walked through my headquarters and you don't feel an ounce of attraction?" He said staring into her eyes.

Rebecca smiled up at him. "No, I don't. You're not that flattering."

She turned her head and rolled her eyes, and thankfully the elevator doors opened. But not to an empty hallway. She froze in her steps when she met the eyes of her father. "Agent Lopez, Agent Quin!" He greeted them.

Rebecca was at a loss of words considering he was supposed to be across the world right now. Colby stepped in front of Rebecca and gave Adam a not so pleasant smile. "What a surprise." He said annoyed.

Adam stepped out of the way so that they could get off the elevator. Colby still, stayed in front of them as he walked off first. "I was supposed to be headed back to Russia, but needed to speak with you before I left."

Rebecca peered over Colby's shoulder. "We can talk in the training room—"

"Oh I need to talk to Colby, not you." Adam said glaring straight into Colby's eyes.

Rebecca wanted to ask what the heck was going on between the two, but Colby cleared his throat. "Rebecca, dear, go meet the rest of the team in the cafeteria." He turned towards her with a small smile. "I'll be down there shortly."

Rebecca wanted to stay to see what her father had to say to him, but she knew both of them would get mad if she stayed. "Sure." She replied, walking off without another glance back.

Her heart pounded all the way to the cafeteria. Something is up...my father would never talk to him willingly. That thought was interrupted though when a set of strong arms came up behind her and lifted her off the ground. "We did it!" Jonathan said swinging her around.

The group huddled around the two with big smiles on their faces. "That was...so cool!" Pamela beamed.

Rebecca laughed and smacked at Jonathan's arms. "Let me go." She said with another laugh.

Cody came over once Jonathan sat her down, and he hugged her from behind. "Liv told us what you did. You're amazing, Quin!"

Rebecca smiled and gave her friend a hug. "Thanks, Cody." She stepped back and looked at Joseph as well. "You guys did great too! That plan worked out really well!"

Joseph smiled. "Thank you. I think Cody brainstormed most of that, actually."

Cody's lip curled upwards. "We worked well together."

Randy smirked from a few feet away. "I like this team. That's probably the best mission we've been on in a while." He then laughed. "It was also really great to see them douchebags get their asses handed to them by Bianca."

Bianca cocked her head to the side and smiled. "That's what I do best."

Mercedes interrupted them. "Were's our CEO?"

Rebecca took a deep breath. "My father stopped him on our way off the elevator." She then lowered her voice. "I think he's up to something...he seemed off."

Drew scoffed. "Isn't there always something wrong with him?"

Rebecca sighed. "Yeah...but he's supposed to be in Russia right now...so it's just weird for him to be here."

Pamela and Ashley shared a look, probably because they know how her father is, and turned back to Rebecca. "Do you think he told Turkey we were attacking?" Pamela said.

"Or worse..." Ashley started. "Do you think he told France?"

The room fell silent. "I hope not." Rebecca said moving her thumb up to her mouth.

Liv cleared her throat and walked over to the buffet bar to eat, while the others just walked away. Rebecca knew Ashley was right though, and she had a funny feeling Colby was about to learn the hard way how the Quin's deal with business.
