When Colby got Rebecca loaded up in the tank, it didn't take long for her to lose consciousness again. She was exhausted...mentally and physically. Randy rushed the tank home as fast as he could, hoping they wouldn't be too late.

Rebecca  eventually opened her eyes in her bedroom. The familiar black and white decor all around her, blossoming into a bliss. She felt the bed dip beside of her, so she knew she wasn't alone. "Oh, Rebecca!"

Dorothy! Rebecca couldn't help but smile. Dorothy scrambled off the bed and came over next to her. "How are you feeling dear?"

Rebecca gave her a smile. "Alive." She swallowed. "I'm really thirsty."

The old woman smiled. "Here," she bent down to her nightstand and grabbed a glass of water. "Drink dear. You've had a very long couple of days."

Rebecca gently grabbed the glass out of her hands and gulped the water down in a few seconds.

Her chest felt...better. Sore, but definitely not on fire. She could finally breathe again without pain. When I catch Vanessa...she didn't even want to think about her revenge. "Colby brought you back in perfect timing. As soon as he pulled in the tank he carried you in here and brought you straight to the doctors waiting on you. He was worried sick about you...we all were."

Maybe Dorothy knows about his past...she has to right? "Did he tell you who did this to me?"

Dorothy looked like she was taken back. "Yes...his stepmother."

Rebecca slowly nodded. "What do you know about her?"

"I know that you shouldn't trust anything that comes out of her mouth." She said sternly. "Vanessa is someone who is willing to do anything to be at the top. She doesn't care who it is, or what the consequences might be, as long as she gets what she wants, it will be done."

Rebecca didn't want to start up any more of the conversation. She needed to talk to Colby. To someone who was there to experience it all. Nothing against Dorothy, but she didn't want to talk about being assassins in front of her. "Thank you, for helping me."

Dorothy brought a gentle hand up to Rebecca's face. "You don't have to thank me sweetheart. You are family now." Dorothy stood back up and wiped her hands on her apron. "Now, I have vegetable soup on the stove. I'm going to go finish cooking and I'll bring it up to you when it's done okay? If you need anything let me know, but for now, rest my dear."

Rebecca smiled as Dorothy walked out the door. She took a moment to herself, pulling back the bedsheets and lifting up her new shirt that had been placed on her, to see the fallout of the damage. She had stitches covering her chest. Thats going to be a nasty scar.

She still couldn't wrap her head around the past couple of days. Their headquarters being destroyed, the team getting kidnapped, her and Colby getting caught, the shootout in whatever room they were in, getting drugged and brought to the house that had been showing up in her dreams since she turned 11, Vanessa being the commander of all of that destruction, and then her almost losing her life. What. A. Week.

Rebecca swallowed and looked around the room again. She glanced towards her nightstand. It was almost 3 o clock in the afternoon. Her eyes fell to a red box right beside of it, and a bouquet of roses. She pushed back the covers fully now, and slowly got out of bed.

Her hand went straight for the nightstand, touching the card attached to the flowers. "Whenever you awaken, come find me in my office. Enjoy these flowers and mint chocolate. PS-thank you for not dying on me. I kind of like having you around, Quin. Love, your partner."

She couldn't help but smile. Those things Vanessa said about Colby being a monster, she had heard that ever since she started going on missions. Her father preached it to her every time they went out, she could hear his voice right not. "Do NOT get close to him."

Rebecca pushed those thoughts away. She would be marrying him by the end of the year. She had no choice but to marry him...but she wasn't going to let opinions of others change her point of view on the man. Who again, had saved her life.

She put the card back down on the nightstand and slowly walked out of her bedroom. Her face fell to the black marble that led her to his office. She heard voices inside, so instead of barging in she knocked. "Come in." Colby said.

Rebecca walked in slowly to meet the eyes of Mercedes, Jonathan, Randy, Joseph, Liv, and the handsome worried man sitting at the desk, Colby. "Hey girl!" Mercedes beamed.

Liv stood up and immediately came to her. "Oh god. I'm so glad you're okay. We were so worried." She said giving her a side hug.

Rebecca just smiled before Liv eventually pulled away.

Colby stood up and swallowed. Staring right at her, he moved around the desk and quickly moved to her, wrapping his arms around her. His other arm went to her head gently. He kissed her temple and whispered in her hair. "I'm glad you're okay."

Rebecca wrapped her arms around him, thankful that she had someone who actually cared for her. "Thanks to you I am."
