Gabriel watched intently as Jaune struggled against Cardin, noting the lack of finesse in his movements. He could tell that Jaune hadn't received proper training, yet there was a determination in him that was hard to ignore.

Cardin: This is the part where you lose.

Jaune: Over my dead!

As the fight reached a critical point and Cardin seemed poised for victory, Gabriel's concern for Jaune grew. He knew that if Jaune hadn't received the support and guidance he needed, he would continue to face challenges like this one.

When the buzzer rang, signaling the end of the match, Gabriel couldn't help but feel a sense of urgency. It was clear that Jaune needed help, and Gabriel was determined to offer his assistance in any way he could.

Gabriel remained stoic as he watched Jaune falter under Cardin's assault, his concern evident in his unwavering gaze. He could see the struggle in Jaune's eyes as he fought to defend himself against the more experienced fighter.

As Cardin raised his mace, poised to strike a defenseless Jaune, Gabriel's tension grew, his muscles tensing in anticipation. However, the abrupt interruption of the buzzer and Glynda Goodwitch's authoritative voice halted Cardin's impending attack, sparing Jaune from further harm.

Despite the momentary reprieve, Gabriel's focus remained on Jaune, silently acknowledging the need for improvement and the challenges that lay ahead for his fellow students.

Glynda: Cardin, that's enough!

Glynda stepped in, halting Cardin's aggression. He backed away, and she ascended the stage, tapping her tablet.

Glynda:Students, as you can see, Mr. Arc's Aura has now dropped into the red. In a tournament-styled duel, this would indicate that Jaune is no longer fit for battle and that the official may call the match.

Gabriel registered her words, his attention shifting to Jaune's defeated form on the ground. He noticed Pyrrha's sorrowful expression. Glynda turned to Jaune, checking his and his team's statistics on her tablet.

Glynda:Mr. Arc, it's been weeks now. Please try to refer to your scroll during combat. Gauging your aura will help you decide when it's appropriate to attack, or when it is better to move to a more... defensive strategy. We wouldn't want you to be gobbled up by Beowolf now, would we?

Cardin: Speak for yourself...
