Gabriel woke up to find Blake lying peacefully on his shoulder. The peaceful moment was interrupted by the buzzing of his scroll, the screen lighting up with an unknown number He carefully shifted, not wanting to disturb her.

He sighed reaching over to grab the scroll.

"Hello?" Gabriel answered, keeping his voice low.

"Hey Gabriel." The voice on the other end was familiar Ren.

Gabriel raised an eyebrow."Ren this is a surprise is everything okay?"

"Yes, but can you meet me at this location i am sending you?" Ren voice was calm but something about the early call told Gabriel it was important.

"Sure." Gabriel agreed the call end as quickly as it had started leaving Gabriel staring at his scroll.

He frowned slightly, a sense of curiosity and concern inside him he muttered to himself"Hmm, it must be something important."

Blake remained sound asleep beside him, her head resting on bed. Gabriel smiled down at her her presence always a source of calm Not wanting to wake her he gently covered her with a blanket. Watching her sleep for a moment longer he stood up and began getting dressed.

As he pulled on his clothes Gabriel checked the location Ren had sent. His brow furrowed slightly in surprise.

"A cafe?" he mumbled, raising an eyebrow it wasn't like Ren to call him out for coffee this early, especially without any explanation.

Before leaving, Gabriel leaned down pressing a gentle kiss on Blake's forehead she stirred slightly but didn't wake smiling, he quickly scribbled a note and tucked it into her hand.

Note: Had to meet Ren. I'll be back soon.

With one last glance at her Gabriel quietly left the room closing the door softly behind him the early morning air greeted him as he made his way down the street heading toward the cafe Ren had directed him to. He couldn't shake the feeling that something was up.

When Gabriel arrived, he spotted Ren sitting at a small table by the window, looking more tired than usual his shoulders were slump, and his eyes were slightly shadowed with exhaustion Gabriel could tell right away that Ren hadn't slept much. With a sigh, Gabriel approached the table and took a seat across from him.

"Hey, Ren" Gabriel greeted, his tone casual but laced with concern.

Ren glanced up from his coffee, offering a tired smile. "Hey, Gabriel. I got you some coffee."

Gabriel took the cup offered and sat back, eyeing Ren's weary expression."Thanks you look like you haven't slept in days what going on?"

Ren sighed heavily, taking a long sip of his coffee as if it were his only lifeline. His expression was weary, and Gabriel could immediately tell something serious was on his friend's mind.

"It's about Nora," Ren said, his voice low and thoughtful.

Gabriel raised an eyebrow, already expecting the worst. "Oh boy, what did she do this time?"

Ren shook his head slowly. "It's not what she did it more about what I need."

Gabriel leaned forward, sensing the weight behind Ren's words. "And that is?"
