"Is Aura their word for psyker?" Lion mused psykers wielded immense power often at great cost But here this abhumans seemed to possess this aura naturally only half of them.

"Could this Aura be something that connected them to the Immaterium or something else?"It was worth investigating further. For now, he would need to tread carefully and observe much he still didn't understand about this strange backwater world.

Then there was the mention of humans there were others like him on this world perhaps not exactly like him or by Imperium standards but at least more familiar than the Faunus as Lion stood on this island where the Faunus governed themselves rather than under a planetary governor he realized this was only a small part of a much larger world that was not so far removed from humanity after all.

This raised even more questions in Lion's mind. "Did humans and Faunus live together in peace? Or was there conflict beneath the surface like so many worlds he had seen torn apart by their differences?"

As Lion stood with his gauntleted hand resting against the door, a realization dawned on him. He had been speaking with these Faunus and understanding their language perfectly as though it were Gothic of his home abd Holy Terra it wasn't a native dialect he knew, and yet, the words flowed naturally from him. The memory of the being from his dream surfaced again, a mysterious entity who called himself as lion spoken the words "The Numerous One Was it responsible for this?"

Ghira
As Lion left the office, Ghira finally exhaled, feeling the oppressive weight of the moment begin to ease the strange energy that radiated from the towering figure had been overwhelming, far more than anything he had ever experienced. It wasn't just the physical presence of Lion that was intimidating it was his very aura.

Ghira's Faunus senses had been on high alert the entire time feeling the pull of like gravity pressing down on him every fiber of his being had urged him to kneel in deference a primal instinct that tugged at the edges of his consciousness yet Ghira had resisted, holding onto his sense of self through sheer willpower and the natural strength of his own aura but it had not been easy.

He knew next time would be harder that strange presence Lion carried wasn't something anyone could ignore it was more than just power it was dominance, a force of will so strong it almost demanded submission Ghira had held his ground today, but he wasn't certain he could do so again.

Ghira whispered under his breath as he stared up at the ceiling, his thoughts spiraling. " Are you even human? Where did you come from?"

Lion

As Lion walked through the village, his sharp eyes caught a group of young Faunus children, their laughter and chatter filling the air. They wielded wooden weapons swords sparring with one another in a playful yet earnest manner. Their animal traits wolf ears cat like agility, and marked them as part of this world's strange mix of human and Faunus by Terra's years they couldn't be older than thirteen or fourteen.

As Lion watched the young Faunus sparring, their movements and laughter seemed to trigger a flood of memories long buried his eyes narrowed, and a name escaped his lips, almost a whisper."Russ."

Flashback
The scene before him faded as his mind was pulled into the past back to a time of blood, honor, and betrayal.

Lion El'Jonson stood over the lifeless body of Durath the Tyrant of Dulan, his blade dripping with fresh blood The battle was over as Lion hold dulan head but there was no triumph in his eyes only cold determination he had done what was necessary.

From behind, the heavy footsteps of Leman Russ approached the Wolf King halting his piercing gaze, locking onto the lion before him. Durath was dead, the promise of battle between him and Russ now rendered meaningless.
