Gabriel amused by Nora's unique sleeping pattern. Even after a day full of chaos and excitement, she managed to find peace as soon as it was time to rest. Ren gently carried her off while she peaceful snores muffled by the plush teddy bear she clung to, her face buried in its soft fur. Gabriel watched for a moment, the familiar scene had brought him back to his childhood, when he would let Blake use him as a bed during the day whenever she got worn out when they were kids.
After a few more moments, he turned and headed back to the hotel where he was staying with Blake the moon was showing it reflecting light casting long shadows across the streets as he made his way through the city, his mind drifting back to the peaceful days of his past.
Upon reaching the hotel he open the door to their room and step inside only to be greet by a very different Blake was sitting on the edge of the bed, her arms cross and her hips set in a pout she wore nothing but one of Gabriel's oversized shirts, which draped over her like a short dress her cat ears twitched slightly, betraying her annoyance, and she shot him a glare that could melt steel Blake cat ears twitched again, betraying her growing irritation.
"What took you so long, huh?"She demanded, her voice low and accusing Blake uncrossed her arms, standing up from the edge of the bed and walking towards Gabriel Her hips sway slightly with each step, the oversized shirt riding up to reveal a glimpse of her pale thighs. "I was starting to think you forgotten about me."
Blake's words were laced with a hint of bitterness, her tone sharp and critical. "You leave a note that says be right back you disappear for an entire day"
Gabriel paused, momentarily taken aback by her tone. He hadn't expected this level of frustration from her.
"Oh, hey, Blake," he said, trying to keep his tone light and calm. "I'm back, and I'm sorry. I didn't mean."
Blake's eyes narrowed further, and she took another step closer, her head tilting slightly as if daring him to continue. "That's all you have to say?"
she retorted, her voice barely concealing the hurt beneath the surface. "You could have at least sent a message i was waiting for hours, Gabriel."
Gabriel sighed softly how much his absence had affected her. "Blake, I'm sorry"
