All Tallulah needed was a place to stay, until she could figure some things out. It's not like she was in trouble or anything. If anything she was probably the most well-off girl in the world. However when things of her past start to haunt her, she'...

Today had to be the longest day, I ever had in the office. There were calls after calls from clients, only wanting to speak to me because they didn't trust my assistant who I have assured over a hundred times that they are just a competent. Sometimes I wish I was just a team member and not the manager of the architecture department in the company. As if I wasn't already stressed my phone pings with a message from Elio.
"Roman's gettin' all bent out of shape because no one's message about the room listing" I let out a sigh and text back, "It's only been a day, tell him to be patient." My phone pings again, "You think I haven't tried that" I can practically see him rolling his eyes. "Well there are others ways to get him to be more patient..." I wait a few seconds, and when he doesn't reply, I assume he took the hint.
As I set my phone down, I hear a knock at my office door, "Come in."
My assistant, Chayton, walks in with his signature smile, "Tough day huh?"
"Tell me about it," I let out another sigh, "did you need something? Usually you be out of here before the sun sets."
He lets out a laugh, "Yeah, I usually would, but I did need something. I remember you mentioning Roman wanted to rent out the spare room you guys had?"
"Yeah, why? You finally called it quits with Nolan?"
"No, Nolan and and I are still happily in love thank you very much, it's for a friend. They are looking for a place to move into as soon as possible."
"Why as soon as possible?" Usually I trust Chayton but something about this seemed fishy.
"She had some personal issues that made her need to leave where she lived. Nothing criminal or anything, but she wanted a change. She's been crashing with Nolan and I but you know our apartment."
Now it was my turn to let out a laugh, "You guys must be packed like sardines"
"Yeah, Nolan and I don't mind but I can tell she wants to move out soon to give us space."
"Well I trust you, so I don't mind but I'll have to check in with Roman before-" I pause as I honed in on what Chayton has been saying, "Wait did you say she?"
He fiddles with his hands slightly, "Yeah..."
"Chayton, I live in a house with four other men, which may I remind you, where we are all in a relationship"
"I know, I know, but she doesn't care about all that stuff, and I remember you saying the the room was basically like a half attached studio apartment without a washer a dryer, so if you wanted you would barely see her, And she's a writer so all she really does is stay at..." I could tell he was starting to ramble, so I deicide to put him out of his misery.
"Chayton," I interrupt him, "I'll talk about it with Roman okay? Ultimately it's his decision, so I'll discuss it with him and everyone else tonight, and I'll let you know okay?"
"Sounds great! I'll see you later, Nolan's been waiting for me downstairs" he says a final goodbye and leaves my office. That boy always knew how to get what he wants, it's no wonder how he caught Nolan.
I'm finally able to pack up my bag and leave to my car. As I start my drive home, I think about the possibility of having a women live in the house with me and the others. To be honest I wouldn't mind it, like Chayton mentioned, the room was basically a studio apartment that was attached by a small hallway on the bottom floor of the house. The only reason she would ever really have to come into the main house is to use the washer and dryer. It sounded like a win-win for everyone, that is if Roman agrees.
I pull my car into the garage and make my way into the house. I'm greeted by the sounds of clinking pots and pans, which usually means Lachlan's cooking because no one else in the house can, that's for sure.
"Hello mister handsome," I feel Elio's arms wrap around me from behind.
"Hello there, I assume you found a way to satiate the impatient man?"
"I heard that" Roman says, coming down the stairs.
Elio lets out a giggle as he goes to help Lachlan. I hang up my coat and set my bag down, I make my way over to Roman, where I give a quick peck on the lips.
"Well impatient man, I have some good news for you."
He cocks an eyebrow.
"I think I found someone to rent out the spare room."
