If you can't remember what happened in the last chapter...Alyssa and Micaela had a lazy day, and they decided that the next day (which will be today) they will go and see where their classes are after church.

I pushed Nessa's wheelchair out of the church building and walked back to campus, which was not too far away.
When we got back, I returned my sister to her room and waited for Alyssa in mine.
When Glinda got back, we left Carter Hall and walked around to find the science building.
When we found it, we walked through the doors and found Doctor Darel's biology room.
It was fairly close to Carter Hall.
After we left the building, we parted ways, me to the English building and her to the Arts building.
I found Professor Kindren's class easily and then made my way to the math building. Professor Simon's Honors Calculus room was on the top floor. It would take a little bit of time to get there.
Next door to it was Professor Milton's Calculus room, and just as i was walking up, Alyssa walked away.
"Glinda," I said as i passed.
"Elphie," She smiled as she walked down the stairs.
I waited five minutes before walking down the stairs after her.
I took the long way back, and as i was walking to the front door from behind Carter Hall, i heard a voice.
"Girls, it was awful. I had to spend the past couple of days stuck with the artichoke and a stupid cold."
"You poor thing. On the plus side, you are officially part of the group, Lyssie," Rhiannon told.
"Bye girls," Alyssa called and walked into Carter Hall.
I hid behind the corner of the building just as the two brats looked towards where i stood.
"Did you see someone there?" Riley whispered.
I heard their footsteps close to where i was, so i took off running.
I ducked into a corner and my eyes grew wide at the sight i saw.
It was an indent in the wall that made a corner facing in. In other words, a dead end. I turned back, but i could hear Riley and Rhiannon's voices.
There was only one thing to do, and that wasn't facing the two bullies.
I grabbed one of the many sturdy vines that draped the walls and started climbing. By some luck, I was below the window to me and Alyssa's room.
I heaved myself in just in time.
"I guess it was nothing," Rhiannon sighed.
They tossed their hair and walked away.
"Um, Micaela?" Alyssa said from behind me. Shoot.
I turned around calmly. "Yeah?"
"Why did you just climb through the window?"
"Riley and Rhiannon saw me. Well, not me specifically, but something, and they chased me."
"Oookaaayy," Alyssa said and walked away. "I'm just going to drop it."
I followed her into the living room with a smile on my face.
"Do you want to do something? Maybe we could go grab some lunch," Alyssa suggested.
"Together?"
"Yeah! I told you i want to announce that we are friends," Alyssa told.
"Then why did you talk to Rhiannon and Riley about not liking me just now?" I asked.
"I thought it was best to tell wait to tell them. I don't want them hurting you," Alyssa sighed.
I smiled encouragingly at her. "Let's go."
She smiled back; though, her smile was a little less hopeful.
We walked out together and into the outside world where we had just been.
A few people started whispering as soon as they saw us hand in hand. Others didn't seem to notice.
One particular man had dark sunglasses and wore all black. He pulled out a phone and called his boss.
Alyssa and I walked to the school's main cafeteria and got lunch.
Minutes after we sat down, Riley and Rhiannon stormed in.
"I see the rumors already got to the queen bees," I whispered.
"Let's hope they lost their sting," Alyssa mumbled.
"Lyssie," Riley said angrily. "Why are you sitting at the same table as her!"
"Because she is my friend," Alyssa responded cooly. "And don't call me Lyssie. It is a terrible nickname."
"I thought we were your friends, Lyssie," Rhiannon muttered.
Alyssa laughed. "Nope. Sorry. You two are a couple of brats that pick on those that are less fortunate. I will never be your friends. You've thrown enough people into fountains."
A teacher stood off to the side, listening to the conversation. In fact, the whole cafeteria had gone quiet.
"What are you talking about?" Riley said innocently.
"You know exactly," Alyssa snarled, pulling out her phone. "You sent me this picture you took of Micaela in the fountain."
The teacher came over to us and looked at the phone. She then glared at Riley and Rhiannon and took them to the principal's office.
Alyssa sat down in triumph and waved to the students to get the to go back to what they were doing.
"Wow," I mumbled.
"At least they are gone. For now," Alyssa sighed.
"Next is your father," I commented.
Once we finished our food, we went back to our room.
"I'm going to make sure my stuff is ready for classes tomorrow," I told, and Alyssa did the same thing.
I got my books, notebooks, and pencils gathered in a pile where i could easily grab them. I then picked out my outfit for tomorrow. It was a simple pair of black shorts and a dark green shirt. Might as well be Elphaba.
I laid out my outfit next to my bed so i could change in to them after i get a shower tomorrow morning.
When i was done, i sat on the couch and read my book.
By the time Alyssa joined me, it was time for dinner, so we headed down to a restaurant off campus and ate.
It was dark when we finally returned home, and we immediately went to bed so we wouldn't be tired for classes. Even if our first one didn't started until noon.
