Hello Ozians and Witches. I plan on this being the last chapter of this story.
*crying goes here*
There, there, I know, it's sad.
But...I will write another chapter if you have any questions on things. I'll say more about that after you read the story.Alyssa POV
I handed my suitcase to the cab driver for him to put in the trunk. After telling Stephen Schwartz that I was quitting Wicked, I was finally going back to Zihs University. I climbed into the car and left New York City, feeling extremely relieved to leave all the drama behind.
The car ride took awhile, but I soon glimpsed the vine draped walls of my old and new school. I was given my old room back, and I did not have a roommate. As I walked to my building, I was intercepted by none other than Riley and Rhiannon.
"What are you doing back? Where's your friend? Oh right! She's dead!" Riley said then cackled.
I pushed past them and opened the door to Carter Hall. The room was the same, but different. Memories flooded my mind everywhere I turned. The two of us sick on the couch. Micaela doing homework at the desk. Our pillow fight on the first day. Everything filled my mind in an overwhelming way, but I knew that I would have to deal with it. I would have to make Micaela proud.Four days had passed since I came back to Zihs. Everything was different. Madame Mawful no longer taught the drama classes. There was yet another new professor teaching the biology class. I came home to an empty room every day. I was walking in the garden one day when a woman walked up to me. She was a student at Zihs whom I recognized but didn't know.
"Hello! You're Alyssa King, right? Why did you stop in Wicked? You had it all going for you," The woman asked.
"I lost a very close friend and could not deal with it all," I admitted. A couple feet away, I spotted Vanessa and Rose.
"Excuse me," I murmured and walked towards them.
"Hello, Alyssa," Vanessa greeted.
"Hey, Nessa, how are you?" I said in a soft voice.
"I'm doing well," Vanessa told me and smiled at me with a strange look in her eyes. "Can you come to my room tonight?"
"Your room? Um...sure," I agreed hesitantly. That was kind of weird and random. Oh well.
"See you then," Vanessa called as she wheeled herself away.
"Bye Alyssa," Rose said.
Okay then. I continued walking for awhile. Eventually, I stopped to get dinner. After dinner, I slowly walked to Vanessa and Rose's room. Once there, I knocked on the door. Rose opened it and smiled at me.
"Hello, Alyssa. Come in," She greeted and moved to let me in.
I hesitantly padded in. Vanessa was sitting in her wheelchair next to the couch.
"Alyssa, there is something I have to tell you. The policemen knew the truth about Micaela," Vanessa told me.
"Okay..."
"It was all an act. Every part of it was. There's something you don't know. Something they've been keeping from the public."
"Vanessa, what are you saying?"
A figure stepped out of the shadows. Her skin looked unbelievably green, and it would have scared most people, but what scared Alyssa was the hope that suddenly fluttered in her. It couldn't be...could it?
"I'm alive," Micaela said, a smile setting on her Wicked face.Like I said, if you comment any questions or parts that confused you, or maybe even something I forgot to put in, I may either write another chapter devoted to that or put all of those in one chapter. Please note that this story was supposed to be a cliffhanger as the end. If you're still confused, then...sorry, I'm awful at explaining things. Thanks guys!
