Previous Chapter:

I hug him tightly and give him a long kiss on top of his head. Still with my lips touching his head, I say the only thing that feels right.

Chay: It wasn't fair for you to be in that situation. I know nothing I say or can change the pain it still causes you. But, I promise any time it's hurting you, I'll be by your side. You won't ever have to suffer alone again.

End of previous chapter.

Chay POV:
This class has been long and exhausting. We all have been waiting since the beginning of class, for the professor to give us back our graded test papers. Finally, with exactly a minute left of class he hands them out. When he reaches my desk, rather than handing me a paper he whispers to me.

Professor: I would like to see you after class, Porchay.

Chay: Yes, sir.

My heart sinks knowing that I must've gotten a lower score than the depths of hell.

The bell rings and Top taps on my shoulder.

Top: Why are you sitting there looking like a starving puppy?

Chay: I have to meet with the professor.

Top: You did that bad!?

Chay: I'm guessing. I'll have to listen to Porsche's mouth…again.

Top: What about your "Phi?"

Chay: Kim won't really give me too much of a lecture. He'll probably just suggest I should let him help me "relax."

I let out a small chuckle in amusement.

Top: Ooo..What a lucky boy my friend is.

Chay: Very lucky.

I say it low and mostly to myself.

Professor: Porchay, do you care more about chatting with your friend, than your grades?

Chay: No, sir.

Top: I'll talk to you later, buddy.

The professor pulls me behind his desk with him so I can see clearly where I went wrong.

Professor: You got a C.

Chay: Ehmm, you called me for this meeting due to a C?

Professor: For an average student this wouldn't be a concerning grade, but I've seen you show much greater potential than this. I would be failing my duty as teacher to let this slide.

Chay: Mmh, thank you sir.

Professor: Okay on this question you answered like….

Whatever the professor was saying became unintelligible as his hand attached to my waist. I tried to scoot away, but he held firm.

Professor: Porchay, pay attention.

He continued talking and then he said it would be better if I practiced it.
I picked up the pencil trying to focus, despite him now storming my waist with his thumb. As I was writing out a different answer, he put his hand over mine.

Professor: Here let me help you.

His hand started sliding from waist doward. I tried to move again, but he kept me in place.

Chay: Sir, you need to-

Kim: Porchay.

I nearly had a heart attack when hearing Kim's voice. As relieved as I felt when the professor finally let go of me, Kim's voice produced fear in me.
