Special Chapter 2: Our Family.

Kim & Chay POV:

The married couple of 3 years stand outside an orphanage's door.

Kim: What if he doesn't like me?

Chay: The twins like you.

Kim: Beam and Phee, have had me change their diapers. They have me in the palms of their tiny hands, how could they not like me?

Chay: They like you, because you're their daddy. He will like you too.

Kim: I think it'll be nice for our girls to have an older brother.

Chay: I do too. Come on, let's go meet him as his parents.

Dao: You two have been coming to spend time with me…..because you want a free babysitter?

Kim laughs and Chay starts to stress.

Chay: No, not at all. Ever since my friend, Top told us about you, we felt protective of you, and at some time we felt you're already our child.

Dao: I'm 11, a man.

This time it's Chay who laughs. Kim plays with Dao, as usual.

Kim: That's right and your sisters need someone to protect them. Especially when they're fathers can't.

Dao: How did you two...you know....

He claps his hands at his pause.

Dao: Have babies? Are they adopted too?

Kim: No, Beam came from my sperm and Phee from Chay's.

Chay: You can't say sperm to a 11 year old.

Kim: When I was 11, I was-

Chay: Anyways! We just call them twins, because they were born a month apart. 

Dao: You guys wanted two newborns? At the same time?

Kim: We couldn't decide who should father first. So I suggested it at the same time.

Dao: And you listened to him?

Chay: He's very convincing, when he goes on about his dream of raising siblings close in age, and then gives you those eyes. Those damn eyes.

Kim: Dao, we want you to join our family. To use in our hearts you already have, but we need you to decide you want to.

Dao looks between the couple and takes one of each of their hands.

Dao: Honestly, I think my sisters could use someone normal in their lives. Besides, you two are pretty great dads to me without it being official. So why not make it the law, that I'm your problem now?

The name Phee (meaning Mysterious, Enigmatic)
Refers to the contrast of how Kim and Porchay view each other in the start of their relationship. The "twins" are actually around 3 years old at this time.
