Previous Chapter:
Kim: Chay, why did he do this? He took nearly everything from me. All I asked is to keep you. I didn't want to kill him, but how could I not. If his heart was still beating you would be in danger. I couldn't..I just couldn't. You matter more. You matter most.
With every word more tears poured out and the harder his body shook. The hands I had on his waist, are now storming up and down his back.
Chay: You did what was necessary. You gave him chance after chance to stop this. He didn't want to. Maybe, he knew the end was coming for him soon. Maybe, he just wanted it to be of his own creation.
Kim: I love you, Porchay. Today for the first time I truly feel I deserve you. Deserve to get to be the one to tell you that I love you. To hear you say the same to me.
Chay: You always have, my P'Kim. I love you too.
End of previous chapter.
Kim's POV:
The weeks after my father's death were spent in solitude with Chay. We talked, cried, kissed, and practically lived in each other's embrace.
Today was like the others. Soaking in the bathtub, Chay lays his back against me, and plays with my hands.
Chay: What's your ring size?
Kim: Are you thinking about proposing?
Chay: Actually, Kim, do you want to get married to me? Maybe even start a family together?
Kim: Why are you asking?
Chay: I want to know and the question has been on my mind for a while now.
Kim: You're only in your first year of college. Don't you think for yourself this is too soon to be having this conversation?
Chay: No, I don't. We love each other. We want to be together for the rest of our lives. So what's the difference in knowing the answers to these questions now or 5 years from now.
Kim: You're right. This is what I want with you, but if you don't want the same; it won't change my feelings for you. Nor will it change us wanting to stay together.
Chay: I know that and I feel the same.
Kim: I want to marry you and I want kids with you.
Chay: Really?
Kim: Why do you sound so surprised?
I push him off me and have him face me. His face is exactly as his tone suggested. Utter surprise.
Chay: I mean..I am. I expected the marriage, but kids! As in more than one. I didn't even really think you would want one.
Kim: Why is that?
Chay: I can't picture you interacting with children. I mean I see you with people in general. I see you with me. I can't imagine another version.
Kim: I'll give you an idea. It's somewhere between those two versions. Not rude, but definitely not as sweet.
Chay: How many?
Kim: 2.
Chay: 1.
Kim: Only one? Who will share a tent with our child on family camping trips?
Chay: Family camping trips? Are you really that kind of daddy?
Kim: Yes. I want to do everything my father never did with my brother's and I.
Chay: Then she can sleep in our tent.
Kim: She? I see a son. And no he can't. It's a family camping trip, but daddy and dada need time alone too.
Chay: Why do you get to be daddy and I have to be dada?
Kim: Porchay.
Chay: Kim.
Kim: We both know daddy suits me so well. Besides, dada suits you so much better than me.
Chay: So you really want two?
Kim: Yes I want our kids to have siblings. To have that connection. Especially, like the one you have with your brother.
Chay: That's a lot of adoption paperwork to go through.
Kim: Adoption?
Chay: How else do you plan on us having children. As much fun we would have trying, no baby is going to start growing inside me.
Kim: Well it's not like money is issue so…I was thinking surrogacy.
Chay: So you want to put your cum in someone else?
Kim: You're thinking about it like a intimate act. I'll give them a sample and they will put in someone else. Same goes for you. If you want you can even be in the procedure room when I supply my sample.
Chay: So you want us to both father a child each?
Kim: Yes, I really would.
Chay: I want to adopt a child. Knowing how different my life could've been had Porchse and I gotten adopted, I want to give that to a child.
Kim: 3 then. We can do 2 children the way I want and 1 the way you want.
Chay: That's a lot of kids. Could you handle it?
Kim: I can handle anything with you by my side.
Chay: You would love ALL of them the same right? No playing favorites.
Kim: Any kid of ours. Blood or not, is ours. I will love them with my whole heart.
Chay: When do you want to start?
Kim: Start? I want us to get married first.
Chay: Then pick a date.
Chay can be extremely impatient at times.
Kim: You're graduating college first. After we've been married for a few years. Then we can start with kids.
Chay: Ow. Why a few years?
Kim: I want to spend the start of our marriage just with us. I want to know what it's like to be your husband, before I know what it's like to be the daddy to our children.
Chay: I like that. My husband.
Kim: I like it too.
