"Naki wake up, you can't sleep the entire morning away. You know you have Temple classes." Valges sat on the ridiculously large bed. With five lovers who liked to sleep together, they had to have one specially made.

Naki stirred, his legs wrapped up in a blanket since the bed was empty except for him. He mumbled something incoherent before cracking open his eyes. "Valges you promised to let me sleep, this is the summer before I'm a junior and you said you would let me sleep all morning."

Valges smiled at the wild silver hair. Having sprouted a good three inches, he was the height Naki used to be, but their youngest lover had sprouted the last year and he was now catching up to Aiden. He was still a bit shorter but Naki still had a lot of growing to do. Even now his exposed torso was decorated with lean muscles and sleek contours.

"I did, but today you have Reflections and also what is it called, Qi channeling or something? I forget. You know if you aren't where you're supposed to be when Doll goes around the Temple to check on you, they will have your ass when they get home."

Naki groaned, Valges was right. Usually he got away with what he wanted at home, but at the Temple their smallest lover was very much a teacher. "Always using Gege against me. It's not my fault I need more energy than normal."

"Says the man who was out at the Club all night! Such a little party animal, I am jealous. I haven't gotten to party since I received my assignments."

Naki propped a pillow behind his head, staring lazily at his lovely lover. "Mm I'm just pregaming for when I turn twenty-one. Only a few more months, are you all already planning? I want it to be spectacular."

"You are a very spoiled man, do you know that? After you came home high as hell, you think you want to tick off Doll anymore this week?"

Naki gave a throaty chuckle, it wasn't his fault. Valas had reappeared out of nowhere and Cerise had dragged him out to celebrate with Sylas. "You left me early, why would you think leaving me with both your partying cousins was a good idea? Even Tahalla was blazed from the contact high! I didn't actually sit there and puff."

Valges sighed, "you think I didn't get the disappointed eyes? I left you in good faith, I learned that lesson." Valges blinked innocently when a tawny hand grasped his wrist, causing him to fall onto a chiseled body. "May I help you?"

"Yes," Naki purred, at twenty, the young man had made new friends and found himself more over the years. Lately he was devious and wicked, sometimes it was good, most of the time it was trouble. Perhaps like each lover, it was a part of the healing process. "You woke me up from a nice dream." Naki rolled, tucking Valges body beneath him. "And since you're only in Aiden's shirt, I might as well make use of it."

"I don't feel like it," Valges drawled, his green and yellow eyes shimmering. "What are you going to do about it?"

"I can fix that," Naki confidently beamed. He lowered himself onto Valges' lap, head laying on his thighs for a moment. "I need a distraction, you do too. Today marks the day so..." 

Valges said nothing, gently petting the silky silver head. Yes, today was the one year mark. The day that shattered all of their lives. None of their hearts were whole yet but they tried to keep going and move on. The more they trucked on, the more they could heal. "Yes my sweet, I know."
