The boy could only blink. Dumbfounded as he scratched his cheek awkwardly.
"Miss i don't..understand.." he looked at her pointedly, dissapointed that there was a language barrier.
She shook her head as she calmed down and sat back down. Her hands letting go of his shoulders as she stared at the ground, looking shaken up.
He was concerned. Very concerned about this girl.
One moment he was hunched over the bottom of a water fall, refilling his wooden flask for the long journey to Mt. Fujikasane.
Then the next, he watched a girl crash land into the water and didn't show any attempt of swimming up. Causing him to stiffen, take off his fox mask and dive into the water.
"what happened?.." he asked foolishly before freezing in place, remembering the language barrier.
"N-nevermind i..—"
"Attempted murder, that's what happened."The girl responded in his language, causing him to brighten up in recognition before frowning at her words.
"Attempted murder?.."his eyes darkened as he looked up towards the top of the waterfall, as if trying to find the culprit with an enraged expression.
Noticing this, she shook her head dismissively, causing his brows to furrow in concern at her nonchalance.
She got up, causing him to scramble on his feet, trying to assist her. She took notice of this as she looked at her hand in his firm hand.
"Are you sure you'll be ok, Miss?.." he mumbled to her, making her look at him in the eye, only for her brows to furrow as once again..yet another bleary face greeted her. Looking back down at the ground with a sigh as she gently pushed herself away from his assistance.
"Yes..I'm sure.." she mumbled, carefully picking her words due to the foreign language.
He wasn't convinced at the slightest as he watched her walk with a limp, letting out a few grunts here and there as he sighed and took a step forward. Only to be cut off by her.
"Take another step and i'll revert you back into a fetus." She suddenly uttered to him, causing him to tilt his head with a deadpan. Not understanding a single word but recognizing the threatening tone.
