A fox-masked boy

The tranquility of your surroundings calms you physically, despite the raging war inside your head. Here you sat on an enggawa, papers scattered and ink almost out.

Sitting with your legs crossed over each other, head in your hands as you let out a long breath.

"what the hell am i gonna do now?.." you mumbled as your eyes skimmed through the papers, stopping at the paper labeled as 'Sabito'

Ah, Sabito.

It was the 7th day of the selection.

What does he look like again?

Your inability to remember or even look at faces irked you a lot.

You grunted as you let yourself fall on the wooden floor. Staring at the ceilling as you thought about the peach-haired male.

'He better keep his promise.' your thoughts were interrupted by the clashing of wood. You turn your head to the side to reveal two males training with wooden swords.

You squinted at the way their body moved. It wasn't anything like the breathing techniques the you've seen on T.V.

You observed silently before your jaw dropped, jolting up from your laying position as you look back at the older male who just cut the younger males wooden sword with his own. Eyes wide and mouth agape you rubbed your eyes to see if you were seeing this correctly.

'Is that wooden sword just really sharp or was that slash just that powerful?..' you thought, dumbfounded. Before blinking away your shock and turning back to your papers. Your eyes caught the paper that contained plans of learning swordsmanship.

You looked back and forth, from the paper to the man.

You yawned and laid back down.

'maybe tomorrow..'

The next day you repeated the same words. Over and over again for two more days before the sight of the males about to leave caught your attention.

You didn't know what to do and on the peak of panic you loudly blurted out nonsense that even you couldn't understand. Catching their attention.

They looked at each other, then at this crazy girl.

You panted as you bent over, hands on your knees as you held up your pointer finger, a gesture for them to wait for you to catch your breath.

You stood up straight with a determined expression as you unintentionally intimidated the two men with your gaze. Unknowingly glaring due to you having a hard time looking at their unclear faces.
