As soon as I opened my eyes, Camille's face came into view. Parang gusto ko na lang ulit pumikit.

She wasted no time and pinched my arm sharply. "I know what you're thinking," she stated irritably, though her tone softened as she noticed my chuckle.

"Si Travian?" I questioned, my heart sinking at the thought.

"He's gone," Xienna interjected casually, giving my shoulder a light slap. "I told you! We're not his accomplices," she added, rolling her eyes in exasperation.

With a deep sighed, I started, "I'm sorry. Treat ko na lang kayo later. For now, I want all of your help." I seriously said.

Nikki raised her brow. "After suspecting us—"

"You don't need to help if you don't want to." I immediately cutted Nikki and looked at Dein, who's just guarding the door. "I have Dein with me—"

"I'm just joking!"

"Hindi, okay lang talaga. Nandyan naman si Dein."

"Ano ba?!

Nikki stated while wiping her tears away.

"Huwag kang paniwala d'yan. Niloloko ka lang niyan." Natatawang sabat ni Lei. "Anong klaseng tulong ba?"

As I distributed tasks and devised a plan to gather information about Sir Joseph within a short timeframe, a wave of gratitude washed over me for having such capable allies.

After thorough planning and discussion, I sighed silently, allowing myself a moment of respite as I leaned back against the sofa's backrest. "Gave them my spare number in case you encounter any stubbornness. I'll handle the negotiations," I declared seriously, meeting each of their gazes.

"Copy," they echoed in unison before swiftly heading outside.

As I affixed my earpiece, which connected me to all of them, allowing me to eavesdrop on their conversations, I powered up the laptop. On the screen, four feeds from hidden cameras—disguised as buttons on their shirts—appeared, enabling me to monitor their locations and interactions with others, paying close attention to nonverbal gesture.

Xienna was the first to arrive at her designated location: Jasper's former family home, where Sir Joseph's parents once resided. Knowing Aine as a person who doesn't easily believe what just told her without evidence, I already knew Sir Joseph had fabricated documents to support his supposed clinical diagnosis.
