I decided that i'll keep the baby. I scheduled an appointment to check on it.

"Tashara Jones." The nurse called out. I stood up with Sekani as well. "Follow me." She led me to a room.

She took my weight, height, blood pressure and allat lil shit.

"The doctor will be in here shortly." I nodded and said thank you while sitting down.

"Hey Tashara, it's been a while." My doctor Dr. Greene said. "I know girl. Life been lifing like it never lifed before." I said she laughed while putting her gloves on.

"Okay so you're pregnant how do you feel?" She asked while lying me down. "Lift your shirt up for me."

"Girl I feel like shit. At least I be eating." I said. "Does this hurt?" She tapped on my stomach it was a little discomfort but not too much.

"Eh a little it's just some discomfort." I told her. "Okay. Let's start the ultrasound." She dimmed the lights and changed her gloves.

The gel was so warm as she put it on my stomach. "Okay here's baby. You appear to be approaching the 15 week mark. Baby is quickly developing."

I looked at the screen. That thing is in me? Like dead ass?

"That is your baby. You'll be able to know the gender soon. We can schedule an appointment for that as well." She told me. I nodded.

"That's my baby." I felt bad that I even considered killing it.

"Baby appears to be the size of an apple. You would sometimes be able to tell the gender at this time but those little legs aren't moving." She said.

After telling me more she wiped me off and I sat up. "I'll prescribe you some vitamins to take and you can pick them up at your pharmacy." She said.

"Sign this and you'll be all set to go." I signed the paperwork and she let me go. We scheduled an appointment in 2 weeks and she gave me the sonogram.

"This shit crazy." Sekani looked at the photos. "This came out of my nut sack."

I laughed while looking out the window. We got to my house and we both got out, I used my key to unlock the door and went straight to pee.

Sekani went to lay in my bed.

After using the bathroom and washing my hands I went to lay with him. "I hope you know we getting a house together before my baby born." He said with his eyes closed. 

I nodded feeling myself get sleepy as well.

"It's just that I don't know."

"Listen, I don't think i've ever loved someone like I love you. I'll kiss every scar on your body." Sekani told me.

I don't think I'll ever fully heal from my past.

"Well I'll make it my mission. You didn't deserve that mama." He rubbed my thigh where I used to cut myself. "It'll never happen to you again. I promise you that."

He always made me feel so secure. The only male figure I let in my life betrayed me and having someone that loves me felt great.

"You and my daughter gone be straight." He said "Who said it's a girl?" I mugged him. "Intuition." He said piecing my lips.

"Intuition my ass." I mumbled.

"Huh?" He turned to look at me. "Nothing."

He went into the bathroom and closed the door, I went in right behind him. "Can I hold it while you pee?" I asked him. "No."

I got mad and stormed out of the bathroom. Who tf.

I grabbed my keys and got in my car. "I can't drink, I can't smoke, I can't hold it while he pee. I can't do shit." I rolled my eyes starting the car.

I wasn't actually going anywhere I just felt like being dramatic. "Tashara get the fuck in this house." He yelled. I rolled my eyes getting back out of my car.

"Stop doing extra shit." He pushed my head damn near pushing me over. I turned around and got to doing him in. 

"What nigga? Shut the fuck up. I ain't ask your ass to speak nigga." I held him in a head lock while punching him.

He picked me up in the air acting like he was gone drop me. "This why I don't play with you." I said on the couch with my arms folded.
