Ella knew how she and Max were trying to come to an agreement about Gracie. Ella wanted them both to have equal time with Gracie knowing it was the best thing for her.

She had told Max that he needed to step up and be there for Alexis and the baby he had with her. Despite the awkwardness of the whole situation.

Ella wanted things to be simple and work out for the better. For Gracie more than anything. And Alexis' baby. They were the most important thing.

Her relationship with Tom was going well. And Ella couldn't have been more appreciative of how supportive he was with the whole Max thing. He was her rock. And she didn't want to lose him at all.

He really had been the most supportive person she had in her life. Despite everything that they had been through. Ella was grateful.

All she knew was that things were finally on the up for her. And she couldn't wait to see what the future had in store for her.

Morning came and she was in bed. Tom wasn't there. Gracie had spent the night with Max as per their agreement. Max was to have Gracie every weekend and once in the week.

The door opened and Tom walked in. "Good morning beautiful. Are you okay?" He asked.

Ella nodded. "Yeah. It's weird not having Gracie coming to wake me up. But I'm glad with how things have worked out. Just need to make it official with Max and the custody. He seems to agree with what we have come up with. So the lawyers will make it official and then we can move on," she said.

Tom rolled his eyes. "I didn't want to talk Max this morning. I just wanted to see if you were okay," he told her.

Ella smiled. "Sorry. I'm just passionate about my daughter and wanting her to be okay. She's my everything," she told him.

"I know babe. I'm winding you up."

Ella rolled her eyes and smiled. "I love you."

"Love you too."

Ella went into work. She smiled as she saw Alexis. "Hey. What are you doing here?" She asked.

"I have to come back to school. If I wanna repeat, I at least need to try and make something of myself. Even though I'd rather be at home. Where I don't have people looking at me."

Ella smiled. "I know it's hard. But I want you to know I'm here for you. If you find yourself struggling, then you know where I am. Don't suffer."

Alexis shrugged. "I just don't wanna be here. I feel like too much is happening. And I can't cope with it. Max wont talk to me about the baby. Who doesn't have a name still. And I don't know if I can do it."

"Yes you can. You've got this."

Ella walked into the staff room. She saw Max and sighed. "How was Gracie?" She asked as she looked to him.

Max nodded. "She was golden. She always is."

Ella nodded and smiled. "Talk to Lex. She needs support off of you. She's struggling so much. So be there," she told him.

Max looked to Ella and sighed. But would he ever be able to tell Ella about how he was still in love with her?
