"Don't you know I can do what I want with you, brat?"

Yuji's brows furrowed and his angry expression towards the curse got furious.

"No – you can't!!" he yelled, "It's my body and I'm still here, so I'm not going to let you do what you want!"

Sukuna laughed, his teeth glaring in the dark red hue surrounding them as he sat on his throne of skulls underneath him.

"I'm serious!" Yuji screamed as he ran up to Sukuna, the bones under his steps crushing and rolling down the small hill one by one. "I want to see my friends again, have fun and help people!"

He stumbled up, but still won speed with every time his feet set on the uneven ground.

"I can make you an offer," Sukuna grinned devilishly, "The only condition is that you need to listen for once, brat."

"NO WAY!" Yuji reached the top and as soon as he threw his fist towards the curse, he vanished into thin air – appearing down on the bottom of the stack of bones. The victorious taunting smirk on his face was the reason Yuji jumped down instantly and tried his best at punching him repeatedly.

Once. Twice.

His fists flew, over and over again.

He dodged every single attack and left Yuji panting and frustrated, yelling profanities at him.

"LEAVE," his fist swung out quickly, "ME," again, "ALONEEE!" and again – Sukuna swiftly changed positions and hit Yuji's head from behind him.

As soon as Yuji's body hit the ground, Sukuna's foot was already on his back, pressing him down.

He bend down to his face, his deep voice now sounding out right beside Yuji's face.

"You have to try harder," he applied more pressure to his foot, Yuji's body squirming in pain beneath him, "Or you listen. I'm not trying for a third time, brat."

"What do you want, then?!" Yuji pressed out lividly with his chest forcefully pushed against the ground and his bones giving in under the effect of Sukuna's energy.

"You'll get me that woman's body. If you do that, I'll use her as my new vessel and you will wake up, you get to see your friends again, and live your life," he offered, "But if you don't – You'll die."

"Ngh–" Yuji struggled to get out of his hold, but he could try all he wanted – he wouldn't let him go without either agreeing or dying. There was no way around it, he had to agree.

But even if he did, he must find a way to save your life as well. He would sacrifice everything to save people that were dear to him – and you had grown to a person that he saw as some kind of mentor in these months that you spent there with him and the other students.

"Sukuna,"

The curse looked up, his gaze all around him as he listened closely to your voice travelling through the void.

Yuji's eyes widened at the sound of you talking, this was the first time he had heard something like this in here.

"Come and get what you want."

Your voice echoed through the emptiness that surrounded the curse and the pink-haired boy.

"See, she's already calling out for me." Sukuna mused as he finally let his foot off Yuji's back.

He hated it – he hated that this sick curse had such power over him. He hated him for what he was and what he did, but either way, he had to think about a solution that won't let Sukuna use your body and that would let himself go.

There was no other option than to agree at this point – but there would soon be way to make this work.

There had to be a way.

"Fine."

Yuji stood up, dusted off his jacket and balled his hands into fists. "But if we have to switch, you have to promise to not hurt anyone."

Sukuna rolled his eyes, waving his hand around aimlessly, "Yeah, whatever."

"So, are you going to let me wake up, or what?"

The curse turned around, his head tilted and his shit-eating grin back on his face as he walked over to Yuji with his index finger pointed towards him.

"Don't order me around, brat." he spat, his sharp nail now touching Yuji's forehead as his eyes closed and Sukuna's low whisper sounded out while the body of the boy dropped down.

Finally, after waiting for what must have been minutes but felt like hours – Yuji's eyes fluttered open slightly and you let out a sigh of relief at the sight of it.

"YUJI!" Your hand brushed back his hair as your fingers graced his cheek gently. "You're awake! I'm so glad!" Reaching over his shoulders, you pressed your body into his and hugged him tightly as the heaviness of your heart lifted slightly.

Even though there was still this thing with Sukuna in the back of your mind, and Yuji only awoke to the sound of the curse's name, you were relieved that he was back up and not sleeping anymore.

Gojo and Shoko rushed over as Yuji slowly opened his eyes again, his body still not able to move like he wanted it to and his voice hoarse. "What am I doing here?" he asked, confused about his own state of mind.

"You were sleeping for more than twelve hours, and wouldn't wake up anymore." Shoko responded calmly, patting Yuji's back as he sat up again.

"Seems like only Y/N's voice could pull you out of the deep slumber you were in," Gojo continued Shoko's sentence as he walked over to his students side, "What happened while you were gone? Do you remember anything?"

Yuji began to grow nervous, as he still didn't know how to go about it, that he now had to get your body to Sukuna, because that's the only thing that he could recall. He didn't know how to find a way to save everyone. Including himself.

"I met him," he confessed in a small voice, "Sukuna."

Gojo glanced to Shoko, then to you – who was still holding Yuji's body tightly, but he needed to know right away what that curse wanted.

"Did he want a bargain with you?" – "N-No, I don't think so."

He lied.

He lied to find out what happened in the weird hours he was passed out, and tried to get behind on why Sukuna wanted especially you. Yuji hoped nobody would notice his deceit, but as soon as he began to fidget with his fingers, you caught onto something being wrong with him.

Normally he wasn't one to hold back with talking. He told everything to everyone without an ounce of consideration before – but this is exactly why you appreciated him so much. He was bold and honest, and just a teenager.

Your eyes studied his, but he averted his gaze at the same moment you furrowed your brows because you knew something was wrong with him. "What is it? Tell me, Yuji." you whispered to him, without anyone noticing because Shoko and Gojo were engaged in another conversation about Yuji's health.

"I-I can't. I don't know." he struggled to find words that explained what he wanted to tell you.

"Meet me after training. We need to talk about Sukuna. Act like everything is normal until then."

You instructed Yuji, to which he only nodded and you mirrored his action, finally hoping to get some insight on why Sukuna wanted your body since something seemed to have happened while he was gone.
