after walking down the hall for a while you reached the two big wooden doors. The bell hasn't rung yet and you had 10 minutes before class started
as you push the door open you see a long table with some people sitting around it
"Hi sorry to interrupt I just need a new schedule" you blurted out as you take a few steps in
"BAHAHAHA" you hear that familiar laugh again. Its Runa and Midari "RUNA LOOK AT HER FACE ITS COMPLETELY BRUISED" Midari called out to Runa
"aw shit here we go again" you thought as your smile turned into a frown of annoyance
"silence" you heard a stern voice say from the end of the table
the two giggly girl instantly shut up and you felt a chill go down your spine
"you're the girl that has been causing a ruckus in my perfect aquarium" the girl at the end of the table called out to you
"uh yes?" you said now scared and nervous "lord have mercy on my soul" is all you thought
"you can leave now" she said as she lifted her hand to the people sitting around the table
everyone got up and left quietly except for one girl standing behind her wearing a creepy mask
"good luck sweet pea nyahahaha" Runa quietly made fun of you as she left the room
"please, sit" she told you in an aloof tone
"yes ma'am" you said as you quickly sat down without hesitation
"everyone is talking about how you beat up a kid yesterday morning. what was that about" she said as she stood up from her seat and walked to her huge tank, leaving you alone at the table
"well you see the kid had poured milk over another kids head and I was defending the boy" you explained to her defensively
"we don't fight at this school. this school is for the elite" she explained to you sternly
"yes I understand ma'am but-" is all you could get out before she interrupted you
"but nothing. If you want to beat them then gamble. Now get out" she told you walking back to her seat
"but what about my schedule?" you asked her in a quiver
"here" she slid a paper to you without a care in the world
"thank you ma'am" you told her as you picked it up and grabbed your stuff from your seat
"refer to me as president, now go before you are late to class" she told you sternly
as you walked out of the office, paper in hand, all you thought was how mean she was
"gosh that was scary! I hope I don't have to interact with her anymore she was really mean and that girl with the mask was horrifying " you thought to yourself looking for your class
after walking around for a while you still couldn't find your class. You had 3 minutes before the bell rung and needed directions fast. Like an angel sent down to you Ryota showed up
"Ryota!!" you called out to him to get his attention "I need your help finding my class" you told him as you handed him the paper
"Holy crap y/n! I'm so sorry for your face you really shouldn't have done that for me, Really!" he scolded you as he looked at your face concerned
"nah its nothing, that jerk shouldn't have been bothering you" you told him running your fingers through your hair
"you should've just dropped it y/n! that's how things are here. As long as you're a house pet people can do whatever they want with you" he explained to you as he looked up from the paper and started to walk
"why? are they being held at gunpoint or something?? why cant they just treat you normally?" you asked him as you followed behind him
"some people do... but most wont" he told you as he made a sharp turn still looking at your schedule "its like having a human stress toy; everyone here is always dealing with something and just let it out on the house pets around them. That's just how it is" he finished as he stood in front of the door
"thank you for bringing me Ryota, and don't worry I don't have the heart to treat anyone like that" you told him as you smiled and opened the door
"no problem y/n! I'll see you at lunch!" he told you as he went his separate way
"its kind of messed up that they do that here" you thought to yourself "at least I know the basic rules of most games! that will save me from a lot of problems" you thought as you sat down
