Part 10

As the school day came to an end you went to go check on the gambling dens just like the day prior. You told your butler Bruce before hand this time not to pick you up immediately and that you'd call him when you were ready to go

"This time around I'm not in a rush so I can take my time and look at everything there is to offer" you thought to yourself

And as you walked by a classroom you noticed several students inside writing on some cards

"Huh looks like that rock paper scissors game again. I wonder if Mary's playing against someone or if it's just other students" you thought as you walked inside and got comfortable

The two players sat down and it was in fact Mary

"Who's Mary playing against?" You asked the girl standing next to you

"Oh I don't know it's some new girl. She arrived today" she told you "is your face alright? Do you need any painkillers or anything?" She asked you

"Yeah I'm fine. It doesn't hurt unless I touch it" you told her

"Well here's my number if you ever need anything" she said as she handed you a small paper

"Yeah thanks" you told her with a fake smile taking the paper and carefully dropping it on the floor where she wouldn't see. As the game started you watched carefully as you saw Mary do the same thing she did to you

"Oh Mary you just don't learn" you whispered to yourself as you shook your head while looking at the ground

And as you looked back up you noticed something shining next to the dark haired girls lap

"What the hell is that?" You thought trying to make out the item "it looks like some sort of mirror?"

And while you were trying to make out the thing she was holding you didn't notice that she just lost all her chips to Mary

"Mary, How about you give me one more game?" The black haired girl asked

"Happy to! How much do you wanna bet?" Mary asked her with a smile

"I was thinking 10 million" she said as she dumped stacks of money on the table

"Wha- for real?! Who walks around with that kind of cash?!?" Mary said as she stood up and slammed her hands on the table "don't be ridiculous! You can't just stake up 10 million. Not on some casual game like this. You just don't. You don't!" She exclaimed by the girls absurd proposal

"Isn't that where the fun is?" The girl said as her eyes shone red

"This is crazy! I won't be part of it!" Mary shouted now scared

"I'm sorry. Don't tell me you're getting cold feet" she mocked Mary with a grin

As you looked over at Mary you noticed she was livid over the girls comment

"This girl is crazy! That is way to much money to bet on a single game!" you thought to yourself

Mary sat back down and continued with the game "so have you picked your card? Are you ready to reveal them?" She asked back in her friendly tone

"Did you really think I wouldn't catch on? Almost everyone in this room is helping you cheat, isn't that right?" The girl said as she glared at Mary

"How dare you?" Mary said as she got cut off

"Your method is flawed" she told the blonde

"Enough of your wild accusations" Mary responded now pissed "if you're trying to just sweep this whole match under the rug-"

"Oh heavens no! I wouldn't just let all our games go to waste" she said with a creepy smile "besides, I promise the real fun is about to start"

You were sweating bullets as you watched the girls pick their cards "sure I thought Mary deserved to lose some money but this is way to much! No one deserves to owe this much money!" you thought

"Are you finally finished? Then hurry up and picked a freaking card." Mary said passive aggressively

"Hehehehe. I did warn you" the girl said

"Are you ready yet?" Mary said and for a second you swore you saw her eyes glow yellow. This game was getting really intense and by the looks of it, you couldn't tell who would win

"No one deserves to owe that much! This isn't fair!!"
