As you revealed your cards you were in disbelief
"How could Yumeko have a better hand than me?! I have a straight flush!" You thought perplexed
"Wow y/n, this was so much fun!" She said as she got up and approached you "I hope we can play like this again!" She said sitting on your lap
"There's no way. How could you have gotten a royal flush? I was sure I'd win" you mumbled paralyzed from disbelief
"Oh it's alright y/n! We can play again another time and maybe you'll win the next one!" She said caressing your face "I'll save my 24 hours for another time since I'll be busy tomorrow"
"Is that even fair? I imagined the clock would start as soon as the person won"
"we never established when the time would start so I'm choosing to save it for a better time"
As you finally came back to your senses you realized what was going on and that Yumeko was sitting on your lap. You looked around and noticed all the girls sending death glares to Yumeko and a pretty pissed Ryota
"What's Ryota so pissed about?" you mumbled to yourself but Yumeko heard
"Who cares? He's a little odd anyways" Yumeko said as she made you look at her by using her pointer finger under your chin
"I thinks it's time for me to go home, Yumeko. It's getting late" you said as you tried nudging her off of you but she didn't budge and moved her hand down to your chest caressing it lightly
"I hate the house pet system but Yumeko leaves me no choice here" you thought
"I command you to get off of me, mittens" you said flicking her tag
In that instant she slowly got up off of your lap then stood next to you and leaned down to whisper in your ear "I love when you talk so firmly. I'll see you soon, Y/n" she said before walking away
You just stayed seated as everyone walked out of the room
"Damn it, I'm in trouble. Who knows what she'll do to me for those 24 hours" you thought as you slumped in your seat "this is really bad"
As the last few people walked out of the room you didn't notice a certain someone standing directly behind you
"What the hell were you thinking, idiot!" Mary yelled harshly with a slap to the head "are you stupid or something!"
"JESUS FUCK! Mary what the hell you scared the crap out of me I thought I was alone!" You said as you turned to face her
"How much did you lose to that crazy woman?" She asked as she locked the door and sat on the table in front of you
"Don't worry Mary, we didn't play for money" you said as you got up and walked to the window in the room
"Then what did you guys play for. What's the point if you didn't gain anything"
"It was stupid but I only went through with it because we had already sat down and decided the game. I couldn't back down anymore!" You sad as you turned to face her "we bet that the loser had to do whatever the winner wants for a day" you said with shame
"You are such an idiot, yknow that y/n!" She scolded "Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!"
"Yeah I know. I'm sorry Mary I thought I could avenge you" you said as you walked back to the table
"I forgive you" you heard her quietly mumble under her breath
"What was that Mary?"
"I said I forgive you, dumbass!" She said as she looked away
Mary was still sitting on the table with her hands resting on the table beside her and her legs hanging off. As you walked up to her you pushed her legs apart and got between them and gave her a hug
"W-what are you doing?! Do you know what position you're in?" She yelled as she tried struggling but you only held her tighter
"I'm sorry for everything, Mary" you sad as she slowly stopped moving "I'm trying my best to be at your level and help you with stuff and I know you said you don't want my help but I can't just sit here and not do anything"
*sigh* "it's alright dumbass. I just have a lot going on right now" she said as she reciprocated the hug "we just met at the wrong place at the wrong time"
"Mary I want you to be able to ask me for help. How do you plan on getting out of this debt alone? This is way to much for one person to handle" you said as you pulled away to look at her
"Don't worry tomorrow theres gonna be some debt settlement game going on that the student council is holding"
"Is that what Yumeko's gonna be busy with?" You asked yourself
"Do you still think Yumeko is chill?" Mary teased as she lightly punched your shoulder and hopped off the desk
"Haha very funny" you said sarcastically
