"Why do you look at me like that you idiot. It's weird knock it off" she told you as she looked at you then looked back at the tv
"Sorry" you apologized to her in a sad tone
"Why're you so apologetic?! It's annoying!" She told you
"Alright I'll just stop talking" You said as you made a zip motion with your fingers to your lips
"That's more like it! Peace and quiet at last" she said as focused back onto the movie
A few seconds later and there was a huge thunder clap right outside your window. You saw from the corner of your eye Mary jumped in fear
"AHAHAHAHA MARY! I DIDNT KNOW YOU WERE SCARED OF THUNDER" you laughed at the girl
"What?! I-I'm not scared of thunder I just got startled! It was really loud!" She tried defending herself
"Yknow Mary it's ok to admit stuff" you told her "I'm not gonna make fun of you and no one else here will"
"I'm NOT scared of thunder!" She told you with a glare "and why're you always trying to comfort me anyways? Why do you care?" She asked you as she lifted her brow towards you
"I want you to know I'm a safe person you can come to and open up to!" You explained to her happily "I know what it feels like to be alone"
"Wanna know why I'm living in this big house and with a butler?" You asked her
"I thought you said it was personal?" she asked you
"as long as you start being a bit nicer to me I don't mind telling you" you stuck out your hand for her to shake
"What are you talking about I'm not even mean to you" she said "but alright whatever I'll be 'nicer'"
"You see Mary this is actually my aunts house. Before moving here I lost my parents in an accident" you told her as you looked away for a second
"What?? you're lying aren't you" she exclaimed
"Mary I would never lie about something like that" you told her as you turned to look her in the eyes
"Wow I'm really sorry y/n" she told you "I'm sorry for how I've been, if I would've kno-"
"Please don't pity me" you cut her off "I want to be treated like a normal person"
"That isn't fair to you. I've been very cruel and unfair to you" she said as she looked down at her lap
"It's alright Mary I forgive you. I'm sure you're going through your own stuff too" you said as you grabbed her hand "oops sorry! I wasn't thinking" you said as you quickly pulled your hand away
"I think we have a lot of stuff in common" she told you as she reached for your hand
"Wow look at Mary finally opening up" you told her with a silly smirk

"We both don't come from wealthy families and both don't like the house pet system" she told you
"Yeah I guess" you told her "it's getting pretty late do you need a ride home?" You asked her as the movie credits came up
"I think it's to dangerous to drive at this hour and with all this rain" she told you as she got up and looked out the window
"Yeah it's raining a lot but I don't think it's that bad. I think she's just making an excuse to stay the night" you thought
"Yeah I guess" you told her as you stood up and walked up behind her to look out the window "do you want me to prepare a room for you?" You asked her
"Well this is your aunts house so I don't want to intrude" she said as she turned around to face you
"Yeah I suppose" you said as you looked into her beautiful yellow eyes
"I could probably just stay here with you" she told you as she leaned closer to you
"That sounds good to me" you told her as you leaned down to kiss her
As you were about to lock lips Bruce knocks on the door
"Excuse me y/n, but dinner is ready" he said then walked away
