Know what it means to tame the Beast?

MrCreepyPasta: Ah, it's good to see you again, readers. Now, just another quick reminder to save all your answers to every scenario for your final judgment. It's coming very soon and you will finally get to meet the Beast. Oh, were you expecting my friend? I know, I know, the soothing words of his writing does make this whole experience more pleasant, but he's a little busy at the moment. But that's not important. Onto your seventh scenario.

~ Story ~

Whatever you said, the girl doesn't seem to hear you as she continues to glare down at those below. You kindly ask her to leave and she heads for the door with another word. Taking a swift, but harshly met glance at you. Your eyes meet for a second and you see something strange about them, you're not sure what. She gives you a smile that you can't quite decipher as either happy or sarcastic, before leaving the room. Later that evening, you're woken by a frantic knock at the door. Grumpy, you get out of bed and make your way to the door and are met with the bartender. He's hysterical. You can see everyone else heading downstairs, all just as groggy and messy. You'll assume they're in the same situation as you, but as the bartender tells his story, you realize the urgency in his voice. It seems that the bear's corpse, which was taken to a workshop a little ways away from the tavern and ordered to be drained and skinned, has been taken.

Bartender: "That isn't what I'm worried about though, you need to come see. Please."

You decide to go along as everyone else seems to be leaving to investigate. You are all shocked to find a blood trail right in front of the tavern. As you follow it, the blood trail is found to be leading from the workshop to the mouth of the forest. By the look of it, someone or something must have taken the corpse of the bear and basically dragged it away. From how clean the blood trail is, it didn't seem to take all that much of an effort to do so.

Here are your choices for this scenario.

Choice 1: Go back to the tavern and get your biggest gun, then follow the blood trail.

Or option 2: Wait outside with the bartender until everyone else has prepared their firearms and then go with them to follow the blood trail.
