Are you ready to be judged?
Hello, readers and hunters alike. I see you've made it all the way to this, the final judgment. I'll be assessing your work to put it nicely. Let's review, start with a number zero and add whatever number of points you are told to. Remember, only add the points from the choice you made.
Scenario 1: The Shadow Behind the Trees.
If you picked the first choice and told the driver to stop so you could go out and investigate, congratulations. You made the right choice. You will now have five points to your score. If you picked the second choice where you head to town, ignoring the shadow. My apologies, but that was the wrong choice. You now have one point to your score. Now, if you're feeling let down, worry not, there are many chances to redeem yourself in the scenarios after this and if you're wondering: "Wait, why is the first choice correct and second choice wrong?". One of the first things you need to go after any monster or beast in this case as a taste for the unknown. Now it's true, it's more than just a little reckless to be going out into the darkness of the night to investigate a dark shadow that's been following you around. However, the kind of person you need to be is someone brave, curious, and perhaps by society standards, a little bit foolish. Moving on.
Scenario 2: Alone in Town
If you picked the first choice and asked the driver to take you back, you've obviously abandoned your mission already or at least wanted to, add one point to your current score. If you picked the second choice and decided to stay in town alone, congratulations. You've made the right choice. Add five points to your current score. And if you picked the third and final choice, you've made the half right choice. Add three points to your current score. Now let's review the reasoning. Obviously if you wanted to leave, you're being more than just a little of a scaredy-cat. Might as well just hide in your covers for the rest of this adventure. If you decided to stay in town alone, I commend you. You're the kind of person who not only thinks they can work alone in dangerous situations, but also doesn't want to endanger the lives of anyone not involved. This is your problem, not anyone else's. And from this we can conclude that the third and final choice to have a friend come to help you, of course isn't as cowardly as the first choice to leave, but it also isn't as admirable as going to it alone.
Scenario 3: Heading to the Town Tavern
If you picked the first choice and took the offer of the whiskey, while joining the other bounty hunters at the table and getting a little drunk, add three points to your current score. If you picked the second choice and joined the others at the table, but declined the whiskey, add five points to your current score. If you picked the third choice and declined both offers, add one point to your current score. If you sat next with the other bounty hunters while drinking, you might end up getting a little drunk and it might even mess up your thinking and thought process a lot. It would probably be wise to decline the whiskey, while you can still take the offer of joining the others, because people would be kind of annoyed by yours and the bounty hunters' drunken antics. If you decline both of the offers, it might make you look kinda wet blanket to others in the tavern. You don't want people to think you're some kind of a downer to most, gotta at least make a first good impression in a more civilized area.
Scenario 4: The Girl in the Bar
If you picked the first choice and told the girl that you weren't scared because there's no such thing as monsters, add three points to your current score. If you picked the second choice and told the girl that you didn't see a shadow, add one point to your current score. If you picked the third choice and told the girl you saw the shadow and went to investigate, but whatever it was that got away, add five points to your current score. Now you may be lying about what you did when you replied to this girl, but even if you aren't, the impression you leave on her is very important, though she does know you're lying or not, trying to look tough is the first step to actually being tough. If you tell her you didn't see a shadow when you did, you are withholding information from possibly a fellow bounty hunter and she won't like that. If you denied the existence of monsters, that makes things a little more... interesting. She likes that kind of attitude, or at least likes toying with people with that simple attitude. Now on to the next one.
