~ Story ~

Before you have the chance to do anything, the bartender arrives with his shotgun and aims it at the Beast. You get to your feet and scream at him to wait, the monster behind you growling and warning at the other man. You plead for the bartender to wait and the man relaxes the hold of his gun. The Beast snarls from behind you, the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end, but you don't back down nor do you show any fear. You turn slowly to face the monster again, swallowing as you do so. The bright golden eyes of the creature search yours and its snarls grow in volume. Your confusion as to its sudden change in demeanor is interrupted by a sudden panic as a sharp pain sears into your back. The Beast is lept on to you, large great black wings shimmering like metal in the moonlight, digging into your flesh upon your spine. You scream and the bartender fires a shot at the creature upon you, but its massive wings act like a barrier, protecting both of you from the projectiles. You feel the ground leave your feet and the wind blow against your shirt as the wings in one mighty flap launch you both into the air. You're panicked now, your skin burning with hot blood and pain as the creature you've learned to call the Beast takes you away with it. Scaly, leathery pale hands grip onto yours and your body drops. The only thing keeping you in the air is the monster's grip on your forearms. After a few minutes of kicking and screaming, your eyes adjust to what you can see as tops of trees far below you. You both must be hundreds of feet into the air. You look up to find the familiar female face, now turned scaly and frightening, grinning down at you in an unnervingly friendly manner. "Don't like heights? Don't worry, we'll be there soon.". The monster was right. In about half an hour, you can see the light of the city, having flown over mountains and lakes that you remember passing in the limo. The burning in your back is gone. You realize the creature you thought was a mere girl asks: "Where do you stay?". You try to point towards your humble abode with your chin and you're thankful when you're living hang glider turns in the right direction. Your feet land outside your front door and a sudden wave from the air is lifted around you. A pair of small female feet land just beside yours. It's the same girl all right, with brown hair and auburn eyes and she gives you a slightly less fang filled toothy grin. The situation was more than just a little awkward. And as if sensing your discomfort, the girl turns and starts heading into the deeper part of the city. A single hand raised in a settled goodbye. You try to ask her to stay, but she ignores and you're left staring at her form, even after it's turned into a silhouette and eventually into nothing. The next morning, you're shocked to find an intricate pattern carved into your back. It's in the shape of an archaic and can't identify what culture it's from, but you know you've accomplished your mission. As you stare at the reflection of this pattern, you hear a familiar voice sing: 🎶Oh go by over me to become one and to be your slave, say you want me under control to stay, at the word of my heart and I'll take yours, take your heart and your self and many, I'll be your slave~🎶. And being the first one to face the creature without fear, you successfully struck a bargain with what they call the Beast, however you now know it's true name in nature. It is called 'The Crying Diamond'. Whatever you need from this point onward, whatever tragedy or obstacle or trouble that befell you, you could rely on your Blue Pact to conquer them all.
