Chapter 15
After the ball ended, everyone went to congratulate the new couple. Everyone except for Prince Donovan who hung back. The one princess that was trying to get Loki's attention all night, Princess Amber even went to congratulate them, but she didn't really want to because she wanted Loki for herself. Odin saw Prince Donovan standing back, so he goes up to him and asks him why he wasn't joining in on the celebration. Prince Donovan answered, "Because I wanted her for myself." Odin replies, "But she is no longer available for anyone else because my son has claimed her for his own." Prince Donovan said, "But you promised her to me." Odin said, "That was before when she was available. She is no longer available. My son has asked for the right to wed her, and I gave them my blessing. So, it is too late for you, Prince Donovan." The angry prince storms off. Frigga, who heard the whole conversation, approached Odin, and said, "You promised Sasha to him? How could you, Odin? You know how much Loki loves her." Odin said, "Well, Prince Donovan will not be getting her now because I have given my blessing for Loki to marry her." Frigga said, "Yes, you have but earlier you were trying to marry her off to someone else. I will not tell Loki of your deception because I don't want a fight to start between the two of you." With that Frigga leaves Odin to think about what he almost did.
Thor even came to wish his brother happiness. Thor said, "Well, little brother I see you finally getting married. I'm happy for you and I wish you happiness." Loki said, "Thank you brother. How is your marriage coming?" Thor said, "It is very good, brother. Sif and I are very happy." Loki asked, "Is Sif here with you brother? I want her to meet Sasha." Thor said, "Yes, she is here." Thor looks around to find Sif. Then he tells Loki, "She was talking to mother, but I don't see her now." Just then Sif shows up. Thor said, "There she is. Loki wanted you to meet his future bride." Loki said, "Sif, this is Sasha, she is going to be my wife." Sif said, "It is nice to meet you, Sasha. I know that you will be very happy." Sasha answered, "Thank you, I know that I will be." After everyone had left, Loki and Sasha left too. They went to their respective bedrooms after saying good night to each other.
