Preparing For The Wedding

Chapter 30

After their love making, they fell asleep in each other's arms. Sasha wakes up first, when she sees that Loki is still asleep, she tries to move away from him. Just then she felt a strong arm around her waist. She turned around to see Loki was wide awake. Loki asks her. "Where are you going?" Sasha turns around and tells him, "I was going to get up and let you rest some more." Loki said, "I don't need any more rest. All I need is you." Sasha said, "I think that you have had me already. Now it's time to get up." Loki wraps his arms around Sasha's waist and pulls her back into the bed. Sasha said, "Not this time, Loki. It's time to get up." Loki said, "I don't want to get up." Sasha smiles at and tells him, "Well, you have to." She removes his arms from around her waist. Then gets out of the bed. Loki just laid there watching her get dressed, Loki said, "You weren't joking, were you?" Sasha looks back at Loki and replies, "No I wasn't. So, get up and get dressed." Loki laughed and said, "You are not even my wife, and you are bossing me around." Sasha said, "I don't mean to be bossy but it's time to get up because we can't stay in bed forever." Loki said mischievously, "You want to bet on that?" Sasha just shakes her head no then leaves the bedroom. Loki finally gets out of the bed and gets dressed.

Just as Loki was coming out of the bedroom, there was a knock on the door. Sasha looks at Loki and asks, "Do you want me to go and answer it?" Loki said, "No baby, I'll answer it." So, Loki goes to the door and opens it. When he opened the door, he saw his parents standing there. Loki asked, "Is there something wrong?" Frigga answered, "No, son we just wanted to check on you." Odin said, "But we didn't know that Sasha was in here with you." Loki said, "Well, she is going to be my wife very soon. So, I don't see anything wrong with her being in here with me." Frigga said, "Of course not Loki. We weren't implying that there is something going on. Odin didn't mean any harm. Sasha is welcome to stay with you. Isn't that right, Odin?" Odin nodded his head yes. Loki said, "Well, you can see that I'm fine. I'm just a little sore." Frigga said, "Ok my son we will leave, and Sasha is more than welcome to stay with you." Frigga and Odin left Loki and Sasha alone. Sasha said, "That was a close one, but I don't think your father believed any of it." Loki said, "My father has always been that way." Sasha said, "You mean distrusting." Loki said, "Yes, but my mother will take care of him. So, you have nothing to worry about."

Loki and Sasha leave the bedroom and go to the throne room. When they arrived at the throne room, they saw Odin talking to someone. Sasha asked, "Loki, who is that with your father?" Loki looked at the person then said, "I'm not sure sweetheart but I intend on finding out." So, they walked up to Odin to see what was going on. Odin turns around to see Loki and Sash standing there. Loki asked his father, "What's going on father?" Odin replied, "It's nothing my son. I was getting the marriage ceremony planned." Loki asked, "Shouldn't Sasha and I be doing the planning, father?" Odin answered, "Yes, normally that is the way it goes but I thought I would do it for you. That way you and Sasha could do other things. Just consider it a wedding present from me and your mother." Loki and Sasha looked at each other. Then Loki finally said, "Thank you father but I think that we should do it," Odin said, "I don't mind helping you. It will be a gift from me to you for all of the things that I have put you through." Loki looked over at Sasha and she nodded yes. Loki said, "Ok, father. We accept your generous offer. Thank you, father." Odin said, "You are very welcome, my son." Loki asked his father, "Can we at least have the say in what colors to use." Odin said, "Of course, my son." So, Loki and Sasha went over to the color platelet to choose their colors. They chose green and gold for Loki and rose and teal for Sasha. Loki said, "We have chosen our colors, father." Odin looked at the colors and said, "Good choices my son and Sasha. We will use those colors for your wedding ceremony." Loki and Sasha left the throne room and went to the kitchen to arrange the food for the ceremony. The next few weeks went by quickly and soon it was the day of the wedding ceremony.
